"Grayson, I'm gonna run and get some food, what do you want?" I yelled up the stairs. I didn't hear a reply so I yelled again.

"Grayson?" It was still silent. I jogged up the stairs and ran to my bedroom door. He was currently staying with me, while my parents were away on a "honeymoon vacation." I had nothing else to do, and my best friend was busy, so I called up Grayson. We have been dating for over 6 months now, and I like to think our relationship is on the right tracks. I stepped closer to the door, but it was shut. I could hear him speaking, but because of the thick walls and door, I could only understand it as mumbles. I put my ear up to the door, trying to be as quiet as possible. He stopped talking, but then continued. I could tell he was on the phone, but I didn't know what the other person was saying, or who it was.
I could only hear the voice of Grayson.

"Nah bro I'm not whipped. I can come chill with my girl." I smirked at his words. He paused for a second, then spoke again.

"Ha, whatever. Being completely honest, I love her and all, but here lately she has been getting clingy. And not to say she hasn't always been that way if you know what I mean." He chuckled.

"Yea, she can be so annoying, she's always asking me to hang out and she's constantly driving me crazy."

"Yea, it's difficult with a girl like Michelle, but I just have to go along with it."

"Okay, well I'm gonna go. I think Mrs clingy, was calling my name." He laughed and said goodbye. I backed away from the door, I wiped the tears that were welling up in my eyes. It felt like my heart had just been shattered.

Of course, since he's a guy, he might not have thought about his words so much. But I did, and they hurt. I took deep breaths. Suddenly I heard something hit the ground. He was walking towards the door, he got closer and closer. I panicked and ran down the stairs, trying not to be loud. I stood at the bottom of the stairs and acted like nothing happen, as if I didn't hear anything. I looked down at my phone, pretending to be zoned in on it. I saw him from the corner of my eye coming down the stairs.

"Hey baby, did you need me?"

I looked up at him, and faked a smile.

"Oh yea, I was wondering what you wanted to eat?"

"Are you going to get it?"

"That was my plan." I said with a attitude.

"Okay, well.....what about Taco Bell?" (That's my shiz)

"Sounds good. I'll be right back." I said walking out the door, grabbing my Keys. I didn't turn back to say goodbye, or kiss him. I just left. I closed the door behind me and walked to my car. I got in the drivers seat, and put the key in the ignition. I buckled up and drove out of my driveway. I speeded down the streets, but not by much. I was just angry and caught up in the moment. In What seemed like seconds, I was pulling up to Taco Bell. I pulled up to the drive through and ordered what I wanted, and what I knew he'd choose. After about 5 minutes of waiting the lady handed me our food, as I handed her the money. I drove back home in dead silence, with nothing but revenge on my mind.
