~~Finn's P,O.V.~~

I slowly woke up and saw Spencer sitting on the chair next to my desk staring out of the window. I cleared my throat and he quickly spun around so he could look at me. As he looked at me with his best worried face, the memories from before I fell asleep came back. I glanced over at my clock; 1:18pm. 'Good there's still time!' I thought. I looked up at Spencer, with a hopeful smile plastered on my face, and he just looked over at me and smiled knowing exactly what I was thinking. "Fine, we can go."

"Tank yooouuu!" I said in a silly voice jumping out off the bed and running to hug him,

"but we need to be quick." He said laughing.

"Ok!" I shouted already by the door of the bathroom. I re-straightened my hair and re-applied my foundation to cover up my freckles. I never really saw a point in wearing too much make up. Its stops people from seeing you. Plus not wearing as much also lowers the risk of your face rinsing off if it rains. I looked at my face in the mirror for a while until the negative thoughts came back. I turned around and walked out of the door, shutting it after me. "you ready to go?" Spencer asked from the bedroom door. "Yup," I answered walking up to him.

"It's a nice room, isn't it?" I said inspecting the hotel room's cupboards "Look it even has a mini fridge!"

"You and your bloody priorities..." Spencer replied laughing.

"Shush. That's my line." I said waving my hand in dismissal of his comment, "Hey can I go for a walk?"

"If you want to, but don't go too far. And remember you need to be at the venue by 5!"

"Do you honestly think I would miss this?" I said as I walked towards the door,

"Don't get lost or hurt. You know I'm only a phone call away, and I'm a cop, I will find you!"

"Bye!" I called back chuckling.

"See you later!" he called back before I shut the door after me. I set off down the corridor and walked towards the stairs; I didn't like elevators. I left the hotel and headed towards a wooded area I'd noticed on the way here. The venue was close by so I didn't worry much about getting lost. I'll get there on time.

It was a hot and sunny day so the cold of the shade was a welcome sensation. I found a trail that lead deep into the trees. I walked around for a while, admiring the sturdy trunks of the trees and enjoying the crunch of the dry leaves beneath my feet. I soon heard the sound of running water up ahead. But there was also something else. it sounded like someone singing. Although it was only really making noises the voice sounded familiar to me. As I followed the trail I saw a small but fast flowing stream up ahead. I grew closer and rounded a large tree revealing none other than CODY FUCKING CARSON sitting on a log looking in the opposite direction. I let out an odd sound that was somewhere between a squeak and a yelp and jumped behind the nearest tree. "Hello?" I heard Cody say. I could hear his footsteps as he circled around the log he was sitting on. "I'm sorry if I'm on private property or something. I didn't know." I peaked m head around the tree at exactly the moment that he turned to look at it. 'Shit' I thought as I leant against the trunk. I heard his footsteps getting closer and closer to me.

"Hi."

I snapped my head to my left and jumped back, seeing him standing next to me. "s-s-sorry f-for interrupting I-I..." I stumbled out pressing myself further against the trunk. "no worries. May I ask why you are hiding behind a tree?"

"I.. I... didn't expect to see you here" He looked at me for a second knitting his eyebrows together in confusion. "Ok..." he said as if he didn't understand what I meant. "You going to the show later?" he asked nodding towards the shirt I was wearing, "Y-yeah, g-got a backstage p-pass t-to" I responded.
