chapter 2

"Rebecca!" I heard someone yell out my name, I open my eyes and see my dad hovering over me, once he saw that I was awake he pulled me into a tight embrace. "Oh Becca! I'm glad that you're awake love, I was worried." As he pulled away, he gave Harry and I pieces of chocolate. I ate mine instantly and was filled with an inner warmth that spread from my chest to the rest of my body, Harry just sat there staring at his piece inquiringly.  "Demetors, nasty creatures. You should eat that Harry, chocolate will make you feel better." With one last reassuring look in my direction, he turned towards the doors and left. "I'm going to go talk to the conductor, I'll be right back." 

"Did any of you hear a woman scream?" Asked Harry, standing up off of the floor as soon as my dad left the compartment.

"No Harry, no one screamed."Said Hermione.

"Ya mate, no one screamed." I heard a voice above of me, I looked up and seen Ron. My head was resting on his lap. I move to go sit down on a seat, but Ron grabbed me by the waist and made me sit on his lap again. I looked at Hermione asking for help with my eyes but she just smirked.

"I heard someone scream, it was a woman, but she was screaming my name." I replied to Harry's question. He looked at me shocked.

"You did?" I nodded my head.

"Ya, I think it was my mom before she died." Harry nodded and the four of us sat in silence for the rest of the ride.

When we arrived at Hogwarts we were already changed. My dad went with the other teachers and left us sitting at our table. A lot of kids were put into Gryffindor, me and the twins shared a look and then we looked at Peeves. Every year all four of us put this show or prank for the beginning of the year, this year we put fireworks in the torches so when Dumbledore is done his speech, the fireworks will go off and of course we left a little something extra for the Slytherins

We may or may not have put a hair changing potion in their pumpkin juice.

"Can I have everyone's attention?" Said Dumbledore  "I wanted to welcome to all the new first years to our wonderful school, may you make life long friends and make Hogwarts your home as you continue your education here. As for those who are returning, welcome back, it warms my heart to see all your faces once more. And with that, Mr. Filch has reminded me to say that no one is allowed in the forbidden forest." When he said this he looked at me, I smirked waving back at him. "And for other news, Hogwarts is going to be supervised by dementors this year," Whispers started spreading throughout the Great Hall.

"Demetors?"

"What is the Ministry thinking, having demetors in Hogwarts?"

"I heard from my mum that they are looking for Potter and Black!"

 "but do stay calm we will still be having Quidditch this year." Carried on Dumbledore, as if he couldn't hear the gossip spreading through the student body. "But do remember, it is not in their nature to be forgiving. They can not feel pity and they can see through charms and invisibility cloaks." His eyes once more glanced over to Harry and I, twinkling knowingly and humor.  "Despite this, please do not be afraid. They are only doing their jobs, but I do advise to not go out of your way to approach one, they will only be monitoring the boarders of the school." At this Dumbledore looked completely serious. He let that comment hang in the air for a few seconds before beginning again, his face once more being taken over by a calming expression. "As a final remark to concluded our opening feast. Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." After his speech the fireworks went off and everyone started to cheer, lifting everyone's spirits after such a serious speech.

I huge W and L showed up in the air,  Dumbledore looked over at us chuckling, and we stood up and walked over to him. We turned to the whole student body and screamed...

"WELCOME BACK TO HOGWARTS!!!" 

Everyone started clapping and cheering, I could even hear some people wolf-whistling in the background. I looked over to my dad and seen him smile and shaking his head at our little show. Everyone started to eat their supper, but me and the twins stayed up in the front. Then we heard some screams, we looked over the Slytherin table and EVERYONE'S hair was ether gold or red. We bowed and waved then we went back to our table to eat. I got a lot of high fives and pats on the back, Ron of course tried to wrap his arm around me but I just pushed him away.

After we ate we went back to the common room, on our way there we heard someone speaking.

"Albus we need to keep an eye on Mr.Potter and Ms.Lupin, you know Potter and Black are looking for them. They are not safe!" I'm guessing it was Professor McGonagall

"Yes, I know Minerva, I know and I'm doing everything in my power to look after them." Replied Dumbledore

"Do you think she will find out this year?" Asked McGonagall.

"Yes she will." Who would find out what? Why is mass murderers James Potter and Sirius Black looking for me? I understand why they are looking for Harry. James Potter is his father and Sirius Black his godfather, but why are they looking for me?
