"Don't go. " I said and looked away as I still hold her arms.
"W-why?" I heard her said confusely.
I look at her.
"U-uhm. I-I owe you one right? So may I have this day to thank you? My treat"
I said and removed my hands around her arms.
She look startled for a second and immediately recovered "But you don't need to. "
"I insist. " I said smiling and pulled her from the cafe.
"H-hey!Wait! Sasama ako. Easy lang. " She said while laughing that made me laugh too.
So I stopped but still didn't remove my hands from her hands. I like this feeling. A feeling I don't know what.
"Where will we go? " she asked as we continue walking.
"Secret. " and I winked at her.
"Psh. Pa secret pa. " She whispered. Hahaha.
I stopped in front of a restaurant.
I let go of her and go in front of her.
"WELCOME TO SUNFLOWER N ' PANCAKES! "
I welcomed her and open my arms wide para feel! Ganern!Haha.
"So tara?" I offered my hands and she took it.
As we enter the restaurant, all the staffs look at us and greets us.
"GOOD MORNING MA'AM! "
I just smiled at go to the counter.
"Hi Ma'am Bea. " the cashier greeted.
"Ano ka ba naman ate. Diba sabi ko Bea na lang? "
"Ang bait nyo talaga Ma- Bea. "
I just nod. "Where's Ate Cha? "
I asked her.
"I'll just call her. "
She said and leave.
Cha. Charo Soriano. She's former Lady Eagle and the manager of this branch.
I looked at the girl beside me cause she poked me.
"Yes? "
"You're a regular costumer here? It seems they know you. "
She asked.
"She owns this. "
Someone from behind said. I turn around and saw Ate Cha.
"Ate Cha!" I protest.
"Why? What's wrong with that? This is yours naman talaga a. "
"My family. Not mine. " I said and looked at the girl beside me. She just smiled at me. What is she thinking kaya? She might think I'm boastful or full of myself.
Ate Cha walks to the girl beside me and hold her other hand.
"You know what? I like you. I mean as a person. And this girl? *turo nya sakin * This restaurant is in her name, actually all the branch. Ayaw lang talaga umamin. Pahumble yan e haha.
That made her laughed. Aish. Ate Cha talaga -____- Ayaw ko lang talagang nagmamalaki. My father always remind me that stay my feet in the ground eventhough we have money. We have money but not rich.
