Into the woods

" Phew that was close " whispered Evie.
" that's nothing compared to what we're going to do" whispered Alfie.
Evie stays close to Alfie for protection unaware that she is never safe. They venture father in to the woods only to find a ditch in the middle of the path.
" Evie watch out, Evi.."
Evie falls head first in to the ditch and is knocked out, Ruby and the boys shake her awake only to find a shiny piece of glass.
" Jamie I think this is a mirror, but why is it cracked "
said a puzzled Ruby. However what was behind them was much worse than finding a cracked mirror.
" Ruby.. I think w..e have company"
A low growl interrupts Evie and everyone jumps back expect the boys but before the girls can talk to the boys a rush of wind hits them so hard that they fall back on to the ground with the wolf approaching them.
