Autumn's pov
Why did Cameron have to come home,I'm hungry but I don't wanna see his ugly face, Oh well I'm only gonna go down cause I'm hungry. As I walked down the stairs I saw Cameron and his friends in the kitchen staring at me, then all of a sudden Cameron yelled "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING"" clothes" I yelled back. Before they could yell at me more my phone went off it was my manager he said "you got a race at 6 you gotta beat the best racer in the world Kim Crawford can you do it?" " hell yeah I
yelled"" good see you then" he said.Jack G's pov
"Geez, Cameron," I said, "You were mean to your sister!"
"SHUT UP JACK!" Cameron yelled. I flinched.
"Sorry," I mumbled.
"Just forget it, alright?" Cameron snapped, "Why do you care so much about my sister anyway?"
I put my head down. "Um, I don't," I said, "She's a dumbass. I don't care about her at all!"
Cameron looked at me thoughtfully. "Good," he said approvingly.
I didn't look at him. The truth was, I didn't believe any of that. Autumn was not a dumbass. She was the complete opposite. She was smart, and funny, and quirky, and talented, and extremely beautiful.
And I was in love with her.
But I couldn't tell Cameron that. There was no way he could find out. That would be awful. He would hate me forever.
Besides, it's not like Autumn would ever like me back. I'm just her brother's best friend.
Autumn doesn't like me and she never will. That's just the truth. And I had to accept it.
I don't like Autumn, I told myself in my head, I don't, I don't, I don't!
