Chapter 3

Jack G's pov

I had an idea.

"Hey boys, I have to go and visit... Someone," I lied, "I'll be back soon, alright?"

"Sure, later man!" Nash said.

I left the house. I guess it wasn't a total lie. I was going to visit someone. It was Autumn.

I wanted to see her at her race. I heard she was really good.

I drove to the racetrack. I saw Autumn hop into her car. I quickly ran over to the stands so I could watch her.

Autumn's pov

I revved my engine. The race was about to begin!

3...2...1... GO

I slammed my foot down on the pedal. My car zoomed so fast it felt like I was flying! I was far ahead of Kim Crawford. There was no way I could lose.

Before I knew it, I had crossed the finish line. I slowed my car to a stop. I exited the vehicle and cheered. Kim approached me. "Congrats," she said grudgingly.

"Thank you," I replied, feeling pleased.

Then I saw another familiar face. It was Jack G, my brothers friend.

I frowned. Why was he here? Was my brother and the other dumb Magcon boys here too?

Then I realized that Jack had come alone. That meant that he left his friends just to see me race. He cares about me, I thought happily.

I smiled at him and began to run towards him. I threw my arms around him and kissed him. I don't know where it came from, it just seemed like the right thing to do.

And the kiss felt great. It was like fireworks exploding in my head. I felt happy.

I couldn't believe it. I was in love with Jack G. My brother's friend. One of the Magcon boys.

And I was in love with him.
