"Mikey! Looky!" zala yelled. I looked over to see a small flame on her finger. "Very good baby!" I cheered, smiling and clapping.
She giggled, and put it out, then crawled onto my lap. I patted her back. "Soon enough, you'll be strong enough to control all fire, no matter the size." I promised her.
She giggled.
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!!" a guard screamed.
My eyes widened. We knew this day was coming soon. We knew it. I quickly picked zala up, and grabbed her blanket.
"Mikey?" she asked, tears in her eyes. "Shh, shh, it's ok." I cooed. I tugged my shoes on, then took off running with her in my arms.
"THEY HAVE BOMBS!!!!" someone screamed.
Then a loud "BOOM!" sounded. Zala burst into tears. "Shh, zala." I cooed. I walked to the portal. The portal to earth.
"Mikey, you said to never leave hell." She said, shaking her head. "Unless it's an emergency." I said.
"THE KING! THE KING! THE KING WAS SHOT!!!" screames surrounded us.
"Dada?" she whimpered. "Shhh." I cooed, stepping into the portal. I opened a random car, and sat her down in the trunk. "Keep quiet, darling." I whispered. She began to cry harder.
"Shh, please baby." I whispered. "It'll be ok." I whispered. I looked back at the vanishing portal, and gasped. "I love you, zala." I said.
I closed my eyes, and took her memory. I then gave her the blanket, closed the trunk, and quickly jumped into the portal.
