Chapter 6: lovers leap

"So where are we going? " I asked troy "come on you're killing me"

"It's a surprise" he replied with a toothy smile.

I am so excited, I don't know where Troy is taking me but I can't wait. When I told him I wanted to leave our hotel room and just go out and enjoy my self a big smile spread across his face and he said I know the perfect place, and here we are going to this unknown place according to me because he did not tell me where we're going.

"Are we there yet?"

"No blue, we just left the hotel,come on "
I laughed in my mind because I was just messing with him, we did just leave the hotel but u just can't wait.. I'm so darn excited.

*Some time passed now and I was beginning to wonder if we got lost or something.

"Are we there yet " I asked a little louder than intended.

He ignored my question and drove up onto a hill then a lovely place came into view.
There was this building there which was painted in peach with an attic and a red roof, many different flowers surrounded it with all different shapes and colours. There was a light house there, a beautiful light house, there was also a sign a sign which said 'Welcome to lover's leap attraction '

"Yes blue we're here " he replied smiling

There was also a statue there with a man and a woman, the man enveloped the woman in his arms like he was protecting her, their faces looked somewhat..... terrified, I wonder what happened. Behind the staue were two graves. I came out of the car and walked over to the graves, they had the names Mizzy and Tunkey engraved on them and now I really want to know what happened.

"Care for a walk " a voice behind me asked
I turned around and saw Troy with an outstretched arm... I held on to it and said "sure".
We began to walk down a pavement where beautiful flowers where aligned on both sides.
My mind drifted back to the statue and the graves and I couldn't help but feel Empathy towards them, it was like I knew what happened to them and I'm feeling it but at the same time I still don't know what happened.

"They were in love blue ". Troy Said as if he was reading my mind.

"I don't get it " I said confused,

"This place is about Mizzy and Tunkey"

"Troy I know that much" I said and rolled my eyes

Troy laughed then steered me to the right then lead me to the end of a cliff, It wasn't exactly the end because barriers were there to prevent persons from falling over.
I gasped when I saw the view.. it was so beautiful, there was a waterfall which ran from underneath a rock a little below where we stood, it looked so beautiful.
"The legend states that they, Mizzy and Tunkey were slaves who worked on plantations here, they were said to be in love but their master was in love with Mizzy and wanted her all to himself, so he decided to sell Tunkey to another estate so that he could separate them and have Mizzy all to him self, but they loved each other so much that they didn't want to be separated so they ran away ."

He paused for a minute allowing me to process all of what he just said then he continued... I think I already know how this will end, but I still allowed him to finish.

"They were eventually chased to this cliff by soldiers of the master... and rather than facing the fact of being caught and separated they both embraced each other and jumped over the cilff"

With that said tears started to flood down my cheeks and I couldn't help but put myself in Mizzy's shoe, I don't think I could stand being separated from Troy and that's exactly what my father intends on doing.

"What's wrong blue... you know it's only a legend right? "

"Yes Troy but it just seems so real you know?... I mean it's like I felt their presence the minute we arrived at this place, like - like I've felt w-what they have"
I sighed and trailed off
"Like I felt their pain ... sh@t, we are going through their pain, their lives were just the same as ours is now, wanting to be with the person you love but at the same time you can't because someone is holding you back against your will "

"Blue, your father will come to his senses, he will understand that I love you more than any other man ever will, an unconditional love that no money in this world can ever buy, he will understand, maybe not today, tomorrow but one day he surely will, I know he will but until then, we just have to prove to him that no matter what he throws or way, It won't break us"
With all that said a big smile started to spread across my lips and I couldn't help but launch myself into his chest and he immediately wrapped his arms around holding me tight "I love you, Troy I mean ...I really do love you " I said looking up into his eyes.

"I love you too blue, I mean...... I really do love you "

I laughed then placed a soft kiss on his lips, then I immediately know that Troy will never leave, no matter what are the circumstances he will always be by my side.... My Troy.

So it's been a while guys I know, but...... I had exams and stuff, sorry for taking this long to update, I hope this chapter made up for my late update... I'm feeling really good about it.😍😍❤❤❤💪💪💪👌👌👏👏
