(Josie's POV)
I woke up pretty early this morning. For some reason, I was feeling warmer than usual. I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I tried using cold water but it stung my skin. I made the water a boiling hot temperature at it Southend my skin. After I got out of the shower I went to go get dressed my clothes were colder than usual so I put a extra scarf on. I could her my brothers out side my door one of them went touch it and I did at the same time. My brother Denny quickly pulled his hand away and said "OW, Josie your door burnt my finger!" "What?!" I exclaimed as I opened the door. "Your just prone to injuries!" I teased. "No, I'm not!" "Sure." I said sarcastically. As I walked down the stairs I saw my mom. I walked by her as she said good morning to me. I got my cereal and and started eating it. As I ate my finger began to turn red from the heat of the spoon as I held on to it. "What the..." I said. I packed up for school and walked off to the bus stop.
I noticed Pearl running to the bus stop. My jaw dropped it didn't even look like she was touching the side walk. "Pearl!" I yelled from across the street, "Wait for me!" I exclaimed.
I rushed across the street to see her. "Hey Pearl, I didn't see ya through your window." "Sorry..." was her response. "Is everything ok?" I asked
" YA I-IM GOOD!" I went to touch her shoulder. "OW!!" "OMG DID I SHOCK YOU?!" "No in fine... when you touched me it burnt..." " really?" "Ya." "Ok I have a quick question... WHY ARE YOU FLOATING?!" "Oh that... I don't know I woke up like that." I didn't know what to say so we walked to the bus stop. "We need to figure this out we have to find the others." I said. "Agreed!" She responded.
