Purple Eyes (Enderlox/Skylox)

Chapter 8

Sky POV~

It took Ty an hour to find whatever it was that he lost. It must be important to him, for him to have gone out looking for it like that. When he got back, he looked tired and his clothes were all wrinkled and stuff. He also had a few leaves in his hair.

"Hahaha! Ty, you look like you fell into a leaf pile!" Jerome said.

"I did. I fell into a ditch with a ton of leaves at the bottom." Ty replied, smiling. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna clean up." Then he left the room with Jerome laughing.

"You guys think he's ok?" I asked them, a little worried. "I mean, he fell into a ditch."

"Naw, man, he's fine. Deadlox is tougher than that." Mitch reassured me.

"Yea. Hey Seto, why have you been so quiet? You've barely said anything since we got back to wait for Ty." I asked him.

"I'm just thinking, I'm fine." Seto replied, but he sounded worried.

"You're worried about something. I can tell." Captain Sparklez said.

"Yea, Seto. What's wrong?" Jason asked him.

"Well... you guys promise you won't tell Ty?" Seto asked us. We all nodded, and Seto glanced towards the stairs. We could hear Ty in the shower, and he continued.

"When I went after Ty, he turned and looked at me. His eyes... they were purple with black slits for pupils, like the ender dragons. Also, how was he going so fast? At first I could barely keep up with him while using a speed potion, and then he sped up. And he seemed really worried when he realized it was his birthday. It doesn't make any sense!" Seto exclaimed as we heard the shower turn off.

"It's probably nothing. I mean, Ty has always been naturally fast and it was probably a trick of the light that his eyes were like that." I said slowly.

"Yea, probably..." Seto said, relaxing. "and I'm pretty tired so that was probably it."

When Ty came back downstairs, we all ate dinner, had a bunch of cake, and watched some movies. We watched one horror movie just because Ty doesn't like them. Eventually, we all fell asleep. Then, in the morning, we were all woken up by a pounding on the door.
