14. post-battle

Jupiter's POV
I couldn't believe what I had gotten myself into. Deep inside I knew there was almost no chance of me defeating Star, but I also knew that it was probably the only chance I was gonna get to help Star's  parents and Star herself.
Star still had me trapped but she was being rather fair, she let me have all my training equipment to practice with it. I had less than 24 hours to practice. I still didn't know much about magic but that wasn't gonna stop me.

I practiced for along time, I also studied some attacks on a couple of books Star gave me. I knew Star wasn't a bad person, but I get she was confused and angry, and sometimes when people are  confused and angry they don't think straight and they do some very stupid things. That got me thinking that maybe I didn't have to fight, maybe I could just try to talk to Star, talk calmly with her.
I wasn't sure if it was gonna work but it was worth a shot.

Star's POV
I could hear Jupiter practicing from outside the room, I didn't need practice because I have had enough practice when Pluto tries to steal my wand.

I suddenly realized something. Was I starting to become the bad guy? I'm I evil now?
So many questions and thoughts raised trough my head in a few seconds. I was starting to feel regret and disappointment with myself, I was probably just one step away from letting Jupiter out of the room, but then my mom said something.
"Star" my mother said with a friendly voice. "Please, just let Jupiter out. She's had a rough life. Her parents abandoned her when she was little, and she's so talented" my mother said.

I slowly turned around to see my mother in the face.

"Oh. Kinda like you abandoned me and sent me to earth?" I said sarcastically.
"Star, you know why we sent you to earth" my mother said defensively.
"You know what? I am going to let Jupiter out! In fact I'm going to let her out right now!"

I opened the door and saw Jupiter.
"Time to fight Jupiter."

I try my hardest for my book to be good, but honestly idk😂 I hope it is good tho. My  book is coming  to and end soon.
