Trying To Remember

We Meet

Me and Dave have been hanging out for a long time. When he first arrived at school something in my heart just wanted to get to know him. I honestly don't know why.

He was brand new to the school, he was gorgeous! I never thought he would be freinds with me, but as soon as he came into my class room we made instant eye contact. Then the teacher introduced him and told him to sit down.

"Ok everyone this is Dave Alta" She looks to the class then back to Dave, "ok Dave why don't you go sit in that empty seat by Victoria ," pointing in my direction.

He nodded shyly, and walked to his new seat. But he keep looking at me since he came into the class room. Eventually I broke the eye contact.

He sat down next to me. I was pretending to fix stuff on my desk. Trying not to look nervous. That when the teacher said something that pretty much brought us together

"You showed up at a good time Dave, Guess what class! We get to do partner projects!" She said with excitement.

All around me the class groaned. Let's just say Ms. Talphas project are a lot of work.

Ms. Talphas giggled a bit. "I know I know but this one is fun I sware!" She claps her hands a bit, "you and your partner must find out what each others likes dislikes even... " She paused for effect, "..each others deepest secrets... oooooo..." She tried to make it creepy but she just ended up giggling.

She was a quirky old women with long brown hair always in a braid that reach past her waist. She was very skinny to but by far the best teacher.

"Your partners are the people to the right of you! This project is great because it's just before spring break. You will have all spring break to work on this project! But this last week is for any questions you might want to ask me! Here are your packets of instruction of how to present this project" She passed them down the rows,"Alright, ready.. set.. go and meet your partner!" She giggled again

I was a bit nervous because my partner was the new kid.

Everyone around me were sighing of relief because how simple this project was compared to her others. Finally I got my paper, as I looked it over, it had to be a video... as I was fighting with my self inside of weather to talk to my partner, he did it for me.

"Well since we are partner, I better introduce my self as a start... Hello my name is Dave Alta," he held out his hand with a gorgeous smile.

It kinda shock me when he spoke, I almost miss what he said in my mind, so I sat there looking dum for a moment.

Snapping out of it, "oh.. uh.. Victoria  Light..." shakes hand awkwardly.

I sware his smile got bigger. But of corse he had to make a joke about my last name.

"Light as in... I can see clearly now the rain has falln," He sang just loud enough for me to hear and was laughing.

I lightly punched him in the arm, like if we were best buds already, while laughing.

"I see you to are getting along nicely!" Ms. Talphas clapped.

Dave smiled "Yes mam!"

At that moment I really got a good look at him... he was average hight but taller than me of couse ....maybe 5' 8"... though I am 5' 6"... he has brown hair, sorta long up a very nicely combed and styled. He was fit, perfect body... And the most beautiful brown eyes you have ever seen.....

"...isn't that right Victoria?" Ms. Talphas looked at me with a smile and questionly look.

Realizing she was talking to me, I shook my head to get out of a daze, "I am sorry what did you say?"

She laughed and Dave giggled, this made me blush a little, I turned so Dave wouldnt see my face.

" I was just telling Dave how you can sing and draw! And I asked you if that's right!* she giggled

I glanced over at Dave who was smiling

"Yes I sing and draw but not around people, Ms. Talphas, you are the only one who knows so thanks for telling Dave" I said in a sarcastic tone, I didn't mind all that much but I did just meet him.

"I think that's really cool!" Dave's face was smiling so wide.

"You see Victoria! It's not bad at all and besides Dave here has to find out as much as he can from you! We'll I will leave you to it!" She winked at me and smiled. Then she walked away.

Still blushing a bit, I huffed a laugh then looks at Dave realizing he was looking at me smiling.

"I would like to see your drawings or your singing one day! And get to know you more," he said without looking away

Something in side me felt so familiar of him.... but I don't know how....and I don't know why I said what's next...

"I would like to get to know you too."

The rest of class was me and him laughing and getting to know each other... that's how me and Dave meet... we clicked from the start.

Well first chapter ... yaya... it will get better.. I hope anyways .. tehe... the hardest thing so far is the names lol... I asks so many people about the names..  well only three people but who's counting! Haha... ha...aaaa... I am so sorry lol
