Heya....I know I have one story to handle but I got this super idea so thought to penned it down as it will be a short story so it wont take much time...but the feedback is must.....because I am trying something different this time😊😆

I was busy looking around...as the party was really boring...I was thinking that what am I even doing here ?....but it was important as its the success party of my buisness partner....and I was forced to attend this party...ofcourse by my father
Ohh by the way I am manik...manik malhotra...the owner of malhotra industires as I am the only heir of malhotra's but still I work under my father...as he says that I am a child and I wont be able to handle things....haha funny isn't it ?

"How are you doing gentleman" he asked in his ever jolly mood
"I am good uncle...how's your health" I asked
"I am fit and fine....and dekh hi sakte ho yaha pe kafi ladkiyo ki nazre mujhpe hi hai" uncle said and laughs while I plastered a fake smile on my face and nodded
"I was just kidding....I know they all are drooling over you because you are the most handsome guy of this party...." he said with a proud looking me from head to toe and I smiled...because I know he was right...I was wearing a formal dress to suit with the party

"Haha now I know you are just saying to make me feel good" he laughed and I laughed along with him
"why aren't you eating anything ?go get something for your self...dont tell me you are on diet" he said playfully looking at my physique
"Haha Not at all uncle...I think I should leave so I can eat those yummy foods" I said with a tempting expressions and he laughed and nodded
I left from there
"Uff khurana uncle...how does he manage to talk non stop...he is like a chatter box like no one can get bore in his company" I said with a smile

I was busy eating when my eyes fell on something and my hearts literally stops beating for a moment

She was sitting on the table opposite my table and was busy poking salad with fork...she was looking stressed and the most important and the beautifull thing was missing on her face.....her smile
She looks here and there maybe she realized someones intense gaze on her

"Yes she is working in my husbands office...she is his PA" the other lady in red saree said
"You should be carefull padma" the first lady said to the second one the red saree one...her name was padma
"Why should I ?" She asked confused
"you dont know about her kya ?" The first lady asked shocked
"No..what is it ?" Padma asked this time with curiosity
"She is nandini...nandini murthy...." the first lady said and the second lady raised her eyebrows
"So ?" Padma asked
"She is nandini murthy....you know I have heard about her from somewhere that she is characterless....her own husband leaves her because of her bad character....you should be carefull I have seen mr khanna was talking to her very politely.." the first lady said with the venom in her voice
Manik was now fuming in anger...he wants to go there and rip the head of that lady who was accusing nandini....he was about to go but stops and turns to find nandini missing
He looked here and there but she was not there...maybe she left...he then turns towards that ladies but they also had left the place....he sighed in frustration and he also left the place...he needed peace...he needed alone time to think about what just happen
