Cort Stevens (twin brother)

Melanie's pov:

"Hey Melanie" said Abigal Harper (aka Abby)

"Hi Abby." I said politely.

"so are you okay for studying at my house tonight?" asked Abby a great smile plastering her face.

"yea" I said and smiled.

"alright, see ya!" Abby said hugging me.

     I hugged her back.

"see ya!" I said

"what's up?" Asked Johnny

  "Johnny, hey" I said frighten a little bit as I rose my eyebrows signaling confusion.

"did I scare you?" Johnny asked as he chuckled at my slight expression.

"no, not at all! " I said shaking off the freight I had before because he came out of no where for no reason whatsoever.

"so how's life for you." he asked looking at me.

"great! how about for you? anything new happening besides scaring people?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"oh everything has been fine." he said and chuckled a bit.

"okay thats great!" I said smiling as I looked down.

"so I'll see you around...?" he asked shoving his hands in his pockets messing with the ground.

okay. weird.

"uh sure...." I said confused.

"yeah see you later." he said.

"okay bye." I said smiling.

Cort's pov:

I was walking down the hall going to get some supplies with a friend of mine and I heard some talking.

I looked to see Melanie my twin sister talking to some lame.

I groaned.

everyone loves Melanie. why can't I get some girls?  Like Melanie what is your secret? Shareeeeee.

"what are you thinking about?" Tyrone said to me.

his nickname is t-bone because he's raw at all sports. and he's caption of the basketball team with me.

I also play soccer, but it's hard to function at times.

"I thinking about-nevermind." I said.

"really bro. anyways how do you think this year is gonna be like for the basketball team?" Tyrone asked me.

"well I think we better stay captions or get in shape at lease have you done anything to get those abs you have been talking about?" I said.

"oh yeah I have been doing some workouts you want to come with me to my house tonight and work on some." he said

"I'll think about it." I said and laughed a little bit.

"okay. let's get these supplies and head back so we can go to lunch on time." he said.

"yea, sorry just got a little bit distracted." i said

"it's okay man." he said.

we headed back to our teacher with the supplies and she said that we could head to lunch.

we walked out and headed towards the lunch room, but I had stopped as he walked a little bit more.

"aren't you coming?" he asked me.

to be honest I wasn't really feeling it.

I didn't want to be sitting with the team.

that's what I usually do when one of my friends asks me to go to lunch with them.

I mean I'd love to be with the team and all, but I like hanging out with my sister more.

she's really cool. I don't see why most people don't like her.

but that's there opinion and she usually doesn't like to get into all the drama with all those people.

I mean most of these people are cold hearted.

"Um is it okay if I sit with my sister today?" I asked him nervously.

I didn't want him to think I was a nerd, but I'd rather hang out with my sis and that's it.

he sighed lightly and said "only if i can join." he smiled.

"of course." I said as we walked and went in to get food.

as we get into the lunch room we see that's it's really crowded but I could see Carly also known as the Barbie doll fake human. Honestly no one really likes her I don't know why she tries so hard...
