It was a few days later and I was doing a lot better.
" hey Melanie how are you?!" Asked Melanie
" I'm great!" I said
"That's good do you want to get a smoothie?" Asked Kristina
"Sure a smoothie sounds great right now" I Said
"Awesome, will Cort be coming?" Asked Kristina
Who knows.... He's been at Basketball practice he said he has to be the best player" I said distracted
" oh Melanie is there something bothering you?" Asked Kristina
" oh no worries, let's go get the smoothies " I said
" okay" said Kristina

Cort's Pov
Man practice is so hard and all when I see Kristina and Melanie with smoothies.
" Cort we got you something " said Kristina flirting with me
"Thank you" I said with a smile but I could tell something was bothering Mel...
" I'm going to go" said Melanie
"Okay, see ya" said Kristina
The rest of the day went by fast
" honey dinner was ready an hour ago" said my dad
"Okay I well be down" I said
" Mel why weren't you down in time for dinner?" Asked Cort with a serious voice
" I... I just lost track of time" I said stumbling on my words
" Melanie you never lose track of time!" Said Cort
The Next Day
" hey" said Dietrich but before I could say something he kissed me
" hey" I said smiling
"Where is your brother?" Asked Dietrich
" at basketball practice " I said

At home
"Melanie this is getting ridiculous tell me what is bothering you.." Said Cort

" i know something is bothering you " said Cort putting his hands on my shoulder

Cort's Pov
Why won't she tell me what's bothering her...
"Oh really" I yelled
" yea really " said Melanie
"What ever" I said
Mom and dad came in
" what's going on" they asked
" Melanie won't tell me what's wrong " said Cort
" Melanie what's bothering you?" Asked her parents
"Nothing " I said
"Okay" said our mom and dad
Melanie's Pov
I stormed downstairs and ran to Dietrich house. I got to his house meanwhile Cort was following closely behind me
" Melanie what are you doing?" Asked Cort why is he here why is he following me? Why can't he see I'm perfectly fine
"None of your business" I said
"Please don't tell me you're back together with that jerk" he said stepping closer to me
"Don't call him that" I said
" well he deserves it" said Cort
" whatever you don't get us, you're just jealous of me , you've always have" I said annoyed like why can't he leave me alone there's is something called personal space
" whatever, but when you turn up heart broken because of him then don't come to me because I'm not going to beat him up again for you I'll just let it slide" he shrugged his shoulders and looking anywhere but my face
" your so selfish " I yelled
The next day
I saw Cort kissing Kristina so first he wants to be all mighty med brother on me and then he goes in kisses my bestfriend really.
And he says I'm selfish look at him.
Cort's Pov
I think Melanie saw us but I didn't want to say anything to Kristina because I didn't want it to bother her and I didn't want to affect things between us.
Yeah I like Kristina a lot but if I said anything to Melanie she would get mad so I just pushed the thoughts away.
i shrugged all my thoughts of Melanie away.
I mean she's still mad at me right???
so why would she care about this...
At lunch
" Melanie did you get your food yet" asked Kristina
" yea I did I'm gonna eat with Dietrich today if that's alright?" Asked Melanie
" yea, sure" said Kristina
" wait... Melanie didn't you say Dietrich was going to Germany this week?" Asked Kristina
" oh no he's going next week" said Melanie
" oh!" Said Kristina
" I'll see you at home Cort" said Melanie
At Home
" Melanie did you see me and Kristina kiss?" Asked Cort
" yes" said Melanie
"Oh" said Cort
" well I'm going downstairs now" said Melanie trying to get away

" how come you didn't tell me you are still with Dietrich " I Asked
" because I love him" said Melanie

"Look Cort, don't hurt my friend Kristina" I said
"I won't" said Cort
"Alright, but if you do I will beat you up" I said Parshly joking
"Mel I won't I promise!" Said Cort

" Mel, do you want to help me with a project?" Asked Dietrich smiling
" sure thing, what is it on?" I asked
" It's about History, world war 2" Said Dietrich
"Sure! I'd love to I love history!" I said smiling
"Great, thank you so much " said Dietrich kissing me
"No problem " I said
"When is it due?" I asked
"Friday, Mr Adams wants it to be a paragraph Essay, about WW2" said Dietrich
"Okay, we will get started tomorrow so that we get the ideas what to say and all"
"Okay great sounds good" said Dietrich
