The next morning you woke up and immediately got to work. You hadn't seen Majesty all morning you were happy on the inside but you maintained a blank face on the outside.
Lauren walks into the laundry room closing and locking the door behind her before speaking to you.
"Have you heard what happened last night?" Lauren whispered.
"No, What happened?" You asked as you continued folding the clothes.
"Master and Majesty were arguing about you last night!"
You stopped folding the laundry and looked at her. "About me? Why?"
"No one knows for sure...." She says before leaving.
After you finished all of your duties for the day that night you waited up for master down in the living room. You were down there for about 45 minutes before he came down.
"Alexis? You should be in bed sleeping." He said as he came down the stairs.
"I just wanted to say that if I'm causing any problems between you and your father then I should be punished for whatever I'm doing wrong...." You say standing up. Your face and tone still blank.
"Ya know.... I admire you Alexis...." Jacob smirked. "Honestly if something you were doing was wrong I would've punished you."
You stood there in silence for a few moments before he spoke again.
"But since you didn't there's nothing for you to worry about. My father and I have handled the situation and you are doing very well."
"Thank you master but I believe that honestly I don't think I can handle anymore disrespect from Majesty." You say in a low tone.
"I will handle it Alexis." Prince says and walks back up the stairs. "Also there's a ball tomorrow. A dress will be sitting at the end of your bed along with some shoes. After you get dress go back into the bathroom and get your hair done and be at the limo by 10:30 pm."
You nod your head and wait for him to be out of your sight before you head to your room.
The next day things were usual with the cleaning but Majesty wasn't around much. You did your duties as you were told and 9:30 came around. Your dress was sitting at the end of the bed it was long and red with gold glitter all over it and your shoes were just gold with glitter.
You got dressed and had your hair done into a fancy up do bun. On the way down the steps you seen Lauren, Meagan, and Kelsey were at the bottom waiting for you.
"So why exactly do we have to go?" You ask as y'all walk out the house.
"Well we usually go to help serve the food and make it. You're are not dressed like us so I don't know why you're going." Lauren says as y'all step into the limo.
When y'all arrive Master and Majesty are outside waiting for you. Majesty takes Lauren, Meagan, and Kelsey, but Master takes you. Everyone was taking pictures and trying to get Master attention but he paid no mind to them. We get inside and music is playing and everyone is dancing hand in hand with their partner moving across the floor.
"Jacob! I see you made it with Alexis!" Rayan smiles as he takes off his hat and kisses your hand.
"Yes, I decided to change things up this year. Im actually very impressed with the ball this year! It looks fantastic the music, the people, and the food, not to mention the art!" Prince says looking around. He looks at you and smiles and grabs your hand. "Shall we dance my lady?"
"We shall." you say taking his hand. yall walk over to the floor and he puts one hand around your waist and holds your hand with the other while you wrap one of my hands around his waist.
Y'all dance around the room while Majesty was on the other side watching you while he talked to the other fathers.
"Jason forgive me for asking but is that your son dancing with that new servant Alexis?" Chresanto father asked as he also watched.
"Yes, and I must say I am very disappointed with his decision. I never thought he would do something so disrespectful to his family." Majesty whispers in an angry tone.
"Second most disrespectful." Rayan father says. "Let's not forget about the incident of you getting 2 of your servants pregnant back in the 70s"
"I don't think I was asking you about my family and my past Lopez!! I mean look at your son over there just looking as ridiculous as ever!" Majesty says laughing.
"You cruel bastard!!" Rayan father says in disgust. "Why you are a sad excuse for a Master James!" he says and then leaves with the rest of the guys buy the table of food.
Majesty just stands there chuckling and taking sips of his whiskey while staring at you and Jacob dance.
"You are a very good dancer." Jacob whispers in your ear.
"Thank you..." You whisper back. "May I ask you a question?"
"Say what you wanna say."
"Why am I the one out here dancing with you instead of some other woman in a royal family?" You ask.
"That is a question that deserves an answer another day." Jacob smiles. The music stops and he steps back and starts clapping and you do also.
Prince smiles at you and you grin back which is the first time you've ever showed any emotion. Majesty looked at y'all as y'all exchanged glances. Majesty gulps down the final drink of his whiskey and starts walking toward you.
"Hello son, if you don't mind if I can take this little lady away from you for a second." Majesty says.
"Actually father I do mind." Jacob says still smiling not causing a scene. "You go find someone else to go dance with."
"Son I demand you to let me see Alexis!" Majesty says grabbing your arm.
You slap Majesty in his face and everyone stops and looks. Prince freezes for a moment and Majesty looks shock.
"I am not your property!!" You yell.
