Your Child (15)

You all sat there and watched Tori being stripped of her clothes to her naked body. They hung her up so she wouldn't be able to move. Nya had the whip in her hand and waited until they were done setting her up.

The first strike of the sharp end of the whip striked Tori's back. She winced and cried out in pain. The second and third hit her her and blood was dripping off her body down on to the floor.

You were starting to get sick from the look of the blood. You felt bad as the fourth and fifth strikes hit her back. By the seventh hit you grabbed the whip and a few tears ran down your face.

"I touched the book..." you say in a shaky tone.

A furious look came over Nya's face. "Take her off! I want Alexis punished!" She yells.

The big muscular guys carry you away and make you strip of your clothes. They tied you up and you put your head down. Jacob sat there unable to move as he knew thirteen painful strikes were to hit you.

The first two hit your back and your immediate reaction was to not react at all. A few tears ran down your face as the sharp pain hit you. Nya grew angry hitting you with three more strikes. Still you didn't react. Three more hit you and you became weak. Two more hit and Jacob got up and stepped in front of Nya.

"That's enough... It was just a book." He says in a stern tone.

"That book had very important things I needed to know! Now pages are missing and holes are in it!" Nya yelled.

"Let her go!" Jacob yelled at the men.

The men cut the chains and you fell on your back. The nurse immediately came to your assistance. Tears rushed down your face and you could barely move. Jacob looked at you with a look of shame across his face.

You lay on your bed at home as the nurse finished working on your back. He patched it up and sighed.

"I'm sorry this happened..." he says in a low tone. "I will need to check up on you tomorrow to make sure this didn't effect the child." He leaves the room.

That night you stared out the window in your room. Jacob walked into your room and just stood there.

"I'm so very-- I didn't want this to ever happen to you." He says in a low tone.

You sighed and looked at him. "I am nothing more than a servant. I should've known not to go through Lady Nya's belongings." You looked back out the window.

"I just... I would've stopped it if I could-"

"Master," you say in a low tone. You reached around and grabbed his hand and put it on your stomach. "I am pregnant with your child."

He stopped breathing for a few seconds as he felt your stomach. He turned you around and took a scan of your body. He grinned and gave you a kiss on the cheek.

"This child would be the most beautiful life I will ever see." He says looking in your eyes. "I want you to take these next few months off. I will hire a temporary servant until the child has been born and you can get back on your feet."

"Master, you don't-" you began.

He put his index finger to your mouth. "I do..."

He gave you a gentle kiss and left your room. You laid back down on your side and went to sleep.

You woke up and seen a note on the side of your bed. You carefully got up and picked up the note.

                 Go see the nurse at 9:30

You went to go get ready and at 9:30 you were in the nurse office with Jacob.

"Awh, Alexis!" The nurse smiled. "Jacob here is very excited about the first child!"

A grin came across your face as you sat down on the table.

"I have a cooling pad for your back, so when you lay down it sooth the scars." The nurse says.

"Thank you nurse." You smile.

You lay back and the nurse put the gel on your stomach and began to look for some bad signs of the baby.

"Well, there's nothing bad here that I can see..." The nurse says.

"Are you sure?" Jacob asks.

"Yup! Your child is perfectly fine! Just keep taking the pills twice a day and it will remain fine." The nurse smiled.

"Wonderful..." Jacob says in a calm tone.

"Oh, so when is my due date?" You ask.

"In exactly 4 months. December 27th."

Jacob grabbed your hand and squeezed it. He smiled the whole time. The thought of him made him excited, but he was happy his first child is with you.
