{Charlotte's POV-}
The small clink of a bell was heard above my head, the warm, inviting scent of coffe mixed with the scent of hot chocolate incased me, as I walked through the doors of the cafe in Paris. Paris, the place I now called home.
Marcy looked at me from behind the counter smiling warmly at me. I smiled back tucking my iPhone's head phones back into my ears, picking up my apron to get back to work at The little cafe, which had became a third home to me, besides my actual home, and the land I had grown up in, that would be the land of England.
I felt a light tap on my shoulder, turning around I am greeted by the sparkling green eyes of my boss Marcy Green. I pulled one head phone out of my ear, the sounds of the song I Will Wait, flowing out of the tiny speakers. I smiled warmly her.
"Hello Deary." Marcy smiled at me.
"Hi Marcy." I say softly engulfing her in a hug.
"Will you please do me a favor sweet heart?" She asked, it was only now that I realized se was clutching her back a look of pain sprawled across her face.
"Anything ma'am."
"Will you please take the broom and sweep over by the tables, and make sure those lads over there have everything they need."
I nod trotting off, over to the table to take their orders, this was odd. Who the hell would be here at 5:15 in the morning? I put on a hefty smile and saunter over there to take their orders.
I notice the rain outside cascading down heavily on the windows. I smiled -for real this time- at the light pitter-pat-pitter-patter of the rain drops hitting the darkened windows of the small cafe.
"Hello my name is Charlotte. I will be your waitress this morning. How may I be of service to you lot?" I ask politely.
"I'm Mark, this is Anne, Maura, Ryan, and Zack. We are for the company of Modest! Managment here for a brief meeting this morning." He said extending his hand out to me. I took his hand and shook it great fully.
"So Mark, what can I get you lot today?" I ask sweetly.
"We would like 3 non-fat hot chocolates, 1 black coffe, and 1 tea please." I nodded and trotted off.
That is one thing I absolutely love about this job. I am always meeting new people.
