Grabbing my keys off the hook on the wall, I stepped outside to the crisp midday air. I pull my brown leather jacket tighter around my body, as I begin my long treck back to my flat a couple of blocks away.
A black street car slows down beside me on the side of the road.
"Hey baby need a ride?" A male voice asks.
I turn around, only to be surprised by Casen, my best friend. Of course, I just laugh it off rolling my eyes at him.
"Sure thing sweetums." I joke hoping into the car.
He laughs at my pathetic joke and launches into his full on 'momma Casen' impression sending me into a fit of giggles.
"Now darling you know your not supposed to get into cars with strangers-"
"But your not strange.."
He shoots me a look.
"Okay so your strange but- yeah. That's all I've got to say on that one."
He over dramatically throws a hand over his heart in mock hurt.
"I cannot believe you said that after everything we've been through I just-"
I cut him off with another round of hysterical giggling..
He pretends to cry.
Ladies and gentle men, can I just take this time to say one thing.
This. Is Why. I Love. Casen James.
