"Is it just me or have we been getting more students lately?" I asked while typing up the program for the upcoming Griffin Performing Academy's performance. Griffon Performing Academy (GPA) offered various arts such as dance, martial arts, music, and art classes. All of our employees here – we've known each other at least since High School, if not Middle School. It seems  unrealistic right? I promise that it's all true though!

"We've definitely been getting more business since that NEWS article," the girl with her hair tied in a braid confirmed. That's Jessica Nagle – or technically Jessica Chiang, seeing as she isn't married yet. Soon... Soon she'll be Jessica Nagle. In terms of GPA, she's one our two dance teachers as well as one of the founders of GPA. GPA was founded by four people who are legally bound by a contract with a whole bunch of legal terms and conditions which I highly doubt the founders will break. The founders founded GPA in attempt to recreate the environment they had at their extra curricular school, Phoenix Art Academy (PAA), when they were in high school and middle school.

"I must say that is all thanks to Michelle," the boy with glasses said proudly. That boy – well he's a man now, but he'll always act like a boy – is Luke Huang. He's another one of the four founders, and initially handled the front desk before the school expanded in terms of students, causing him to become a fellow art teacher; I taught the art classes before Luke did.

"I don't understand how you and your sister can have such a good relationship," the obnoxiously tall (and blonde) boy commented. He's our residential white boy, Wyatt Lemm – well, I guess it's "white man" but that nickname from High School sticks with him. Wyatt instructs the Martial Arts classes and is the third founder of this school. Fun Fact: Wyatt is the only white man employed at GPA, and is therefore the only white man of the four founders.

"No offense, Wyatt, but not all of our siblings are – 'difficult,'" the Jessica lightly reminded.

"Jessica, you don't have any siblings," I pointed out.

"That doesn't affect my point," was the reply.

"Whatever, what was supposed to be after the intermission?" I asked.

"Straight sword sparring set," Luke replied.

"I thought it was Green Snake White Snake?" Jessica said.

"No, Tina and Chloe were supposed to go after the sparring set," Wyatt correct.

"Angelina, just check the iTunes playlist," Luke said. Right, I forgot to introduce myself. Angelina Xie, currently the 26-year old and employed at GPA as an art teacher, nice to meet you. Oh! I'm also the fourth (and youngest) founder of GPA. I flipped form the word document to the iTunes playlist. Turns out Wyatt was right.

Jessica looked down at her slightly dirty, pale green watch. "It's already 10," she muttered. "I should get going. Don't stay too late!" She said to the rest of us as she picked her bag up from the behind the front desk, and proceed to the exit.

Seconds after Wyatt was chasing after Jessica saying, "Wait don't go yet! You're my ride home!"

"You didn't drive yourself over?" I asked with a hint of incredulity. Ever since Wyatt was able to drive at age 16, he's driven himself everywhere – everywhere. At some point, he even got banned from driving for a little while because his parents got annoyed with him.

"He didn't want to drive in the rain," Jessica teased.

"No, it's in the shop," Wyatt retorted, childishly sticking his tongue out at Jessica.

"Grow up, Wyatt," Jessica lightly chided.

"What do you mean 'grow up?' I'm as adult-y and mature as I'll ever be!" Wyatt said before making a stupid face at me. He stuck his tongue out at me, made a mocking noise, and put his thumb on his nose with the rest of fingers pointing up and wiggling.
