Cat from the woods

We have arrived

I awoke to Lucas grabbing his gaming system to play. I sat up and watched my surroundings change back to city. I grabbed out my new journal from Sophie and started drawing a cat that I saw in my dream, it was kinda big and majestic. Once I went to get my colors from the ground mom came to I quick stop signaling that we were in city limits and would be there soon. I poked Lucas and said " Lucas, Lucas we are almost there put you game boy away" we soon then pulled up to a big blue house with a huge yard. We all hoped out of the car and went to see are new house. It had a basement and a second floor. Me and Lucas raced up the stairs to go claim our bedrooms. I darted down the hall and to the left into a beautiful room that just screamed me. I yelled " I claim this one!" Soon after Lucas yelled " I claim this one!" We both headed back downstairs and and told mom which room we wanted. She giggled  at us and told us we could have them. Dad soon came in and picked me up and gave me a big hug. Dad isn't home often, it seems he is always at work. I giggled with joy and ran out to the car to fetch my stuff. Once I got all my boxes into my room I headed downstairs where my mom, brother, and dad were waiting. It was always a tradition to go out for ice cream when we moved. We got into the car and went to Ben and Jerry's. I got toffee swirl with chocolate chips. We then drove around for a little and stopped at my new school I was going to Luna elementary and Lucas would be going to heavenly host middle school. I would be a second grader and he would be a sixth grader. We then drove home and slept in our new house for the first time. It felt weird but I new I would get use to it. In the morning I woke up to the smell of waffles, bacon, and eggs. I had the same dream about the cat and just shook it off. I hopped down stairs in my bunny slippers and blue pajamas. Once I got to the table Lucas took the last piece of bacon and rubbed it in just because I'm a vegetarian. I went to a half opened box and grabbed out a our toaster. I plugged it in and put a beagle in. I went to the fridge and grabbed out the cream cheese and walk back to the toaster. I grab the lightly toasted beagle out and put a thin layer of cream cheese on. I put it a paper plate and walked back to the table. I finished my food and went back upstairs to my little journal and started writing and drawing.
