School

Once I finish up my picture I was drawing I headed down the hall to drag Lucas outside with me to go meet the new neighbors. I knocked on his door lightly and saw him on his Xbox 1 playing call of duty live so I didn't even bother to disturb him. I turned around and walked back into my empty room, just boxes everywhere. The only unpacked things were my bed with its canopy, my desk, and a few personal items like my journal. I sighed and decided that while I wait for Lucas to finish his nonsense game I will unpack. I walk over to one box that was really heavy and take out my nightstand. Once I am done unpacking I head down stairs for a little snack after such work. I had a pb&j with a bowl of strawberry yogurt. After I finished I washed my plate and bowl and went upstairs to my room. It sounded like Lucas was still playing so I took a little nap. When I woke I was surprised by how late it was. It was 7:00pm so I headed downstairs to find my dinner in the microwave. I eat it and went back to my room. The next day I was starting school. I woke up to Lucas knocking on the door that lead to the bathroom between our rooms. I got up and picked out a blue and white dress with black flats. I then hopped into the shower and got dress. I brushed my long blond hair and put on a headband with a blue bow. I headed downstairs to the kitchen where I made some toast with peanut butter on it to help give me protein. I walked to Lucas's room and told him " come on it is time to go, we are walking so we need to hurt up and get going." He grabbed his backpack and we left. After 4 blocks we reached my school. Lucas walked me to my class and left. I shyly took my seat next to a girl who looked nice and the boy on my other side caught my attention. His light blue eyes met with mine and I felt all fuzzy. I lightly blushed and looked away. The bell rang soon after and class started. We started with language and my last school taught me all of it already so I kinda just zoned out. Once it was recess all of the kids ran outside and I just walked. I soon heard my name called by the teacher from the door. I ran up and came inside. There was the girl who was sitting next to me standing by her desk. I shyly walked with the teacher to her, not knowing what was going on. Miss Taylor said " hello Alice this is Luci she lives in the same neighborhood as you and has offered to show you around and help you." Luci then smiled at me and I felt welcomed. We went outside and played for the remaining time and then we came in laughing. She was my first friend and I was happy. At recess she told me who is nice and who mean also their names. Once the final bell rang I asked Luci if she want to walk home with me and my brother. She kindly expected and we waited outside for my brother. He showed up a couple minutes later with a busted lip. I ran to him with concern. " are okay, what happened!?" I cried sadly " oh just so boys who like beating up the new guy, don't worry it doesn't hurt much anymore." He said tiring not to show sadness to his little sister, my brother can be mean, but I know he loves me and doesn't want me upset. We walked home and Luci was the house next door. She gave me a hug and went home as I got the first-aid kit. I got him fixed up before mom got home from grocery shopping. We helped mom make dinner and set the table. By the time we finished dad came home. We ate and talked about our day. " I met some of the other mothers in the neighborhood and went grocery shopping that's all." Mom said " I got to my new job and just did transfer papers." Dad recalled " I made a new friend and her name is Luci!" I exclaimed. When it got to Lucas he just smiled and pretended like nothing happened. After dinner we all cleaned our dishes and went to bed. I stayed up and wrote in my journal then went to bed.
