00:03 | It's because—

"Please, my house isn't ready to be moved into until at least a week or two. Our parents don't want her back at our home unless I'm there. You and I both know they hate her—"

Kenzi slapped her and Yani smiled sheepishly, "Well, they do hate you, babe."

She opened her mouth to respond until I butted in, "Well, we hate her too nigga!"

She mugged the soul out of me and we began to go at it again, Ace tried keeping us apart to the best of her abilities. Meanwhile, Yani unknowingly left.

"Guys, Yani left!" Ace shouted over us.

I stopped in my tracks and looked at her, "You kid—" I ran to the window and saw that her car truly wasn't there anymore.

"Oh, hell nah! How could she leave her trash behind?" I protest.

She shot me a mug and we went at it once again until Ace separated us.

{Noon}

"D~
Li~
Cy~
Ah~" calls one of my close friends, Cee'Jay. She stepped closer to me and winced, "Damn, what's up with the black circles? You stay up all night?"

"Uh– nah, just a lil' more later than I usually do," I responded simply.

She dapped me up and threw a peace sign, "See you soon, bro."

I turned in my report for one of classes, and went straight back home.

"I'm ba—" I started to walk in, only for my eardrums to be invaded by a loudmouthed certain someone.

"Change my bedsheets already! Shit, fuck is taking you so damn long!" Kenzi yelled, most likely towards Ace.

"Oh, welcome back D." Ace got out weakly, carrying a set of bedsheets and other feminine products.

"She made you carry all this shit?"

"Yeah, she's sleeping in my room– uh... my bad Dlicy... I gotta sleep in your room while she's here, if that's alright? I could sleep on the couch though." She says.

"It's alright, and I'll make her bed." I sigh, taking the bedsheets from her hands.

"You don't have to—"

"Aye, Dlicy! I'm hungry, so you still cook? Or, we gotta eat out?"

"Uh– I'm cooking," I answer.

"Aye, listen Dlicy~ make it spicy! The baby would enjoy that!" She says.

"Don't call her "Dlicy" as if you close to her or sum," Ace glares at her.

"What? Why not? We're basically like family or some shit." She grins.

"Well, YOU can't! Dlicy is MY childhood friend! So, YOU don't call her that shit," Ace snaps.

I raise an eyebrow in surprise and not even a second goes by before coffee is thrown onto Ace.

"You the little sister to my fiancé! I'm the real member of your family! Not her!!!" She screams, storming off into her room. She slams the door behind her and we let out a sigh in unison.

Ace seemed upset in general as I shook my head, "What's the big deal? It's just a nickname, you know you can call me whatever you want." I mumble.

She glared at me before looking away, "It is a big deal! It ain't coo! I'm the only one who can call you Dlicy!" She states.

"...I'm a' take a shower," She mumbles, walking off to the staircase.
