PERCY'S POV

Holy Hera.. She picked up.
"Annabeth." I repeat. She stutters. "Yes?"
I don't know what to say. I missed her so much. I never really said I loved her before. But gods I wish I did when she was mine... I wish she knew how much she meant to me...
"I miss you" I choke out.
She sighs.
"Percy, I have a boyfriend.. Friends.. And a future. Please leave me alone," she says.
I almost cry.
She has a boyfriend.
Annabeth chase has replaced me.
"Oh," I reply, thanking the gods she couldn't see me blush over this mortifying phone call.
She sighs again. "Percy...-"
And with that I hang up.
With that, I run to the airport and buy the first dam ticket to Greece.
Then I realize I can't fly on planes... So I get my money back and travel by a hippocampus.
It takes a few days.. But oh well.



ANNABETH'S POV

I sigh and put the phone down. I find myself in tears until Helios wakes up. He holds me on his lap and I can't help but smile. "I love you." He whispers. I don't reaping. Did I really love him?
He manages the night without a response.
Avalon must have known I was upset, because she didn't even kick Helios out.
The next morning, we head back to class. Helios' eyes shine once they see the black board again.
Just as excited as I was...
I was happy to be back at school.
Away f'rom stress.

"Come on, Annie." Avalon teases, pulling me out of the small Greek resteraunt. I laugh. "What? I'm out! I'm out!" I yell between laughter. She picks me up and carries me back to our dorm. She puts me into bed and we watch TV. Until we pass out.
Everything was great. I loved life.
No regrets.
Until I walk into class to hear terrible words.
"Now class, please welcome Percy Jackson, an exchange student from the states,"
