Why Can't We Be Friends?

Waking up groggily the sounds of gun shots filled my ears.
I heard screams and cries and quickly sat up. Realizing I was no longer in the ship I began panicking.
"Mom?! Daddy?!" I screamed.
"Kira!"
Looking over I saw my parents running towards me.
Jumping to my feet I began running towards them.
Suddenly there was a bright light and a loud explosion and the both flew in the air, their bodies landing harshly on the cold wet ground that was a weird dark green.
"MOM!!" I shrieked in horror.
Quickly running to their now lifeless bodies I fell to my knees.
"Mommy? Daddy?! Please wake up! Its not nap time!!" I screamed shaking my fathers shoulders.
His eyes just rolled to the back of his head.
Falling back in horror I stared at their dead bodies, tears of realization pouring down my face.
"NOOOOOO!!" I screamed loudly.
"Shh!!"
Suddenly I was picked up and was being rushed through the woods.
Screaming I struggled but a hand was quickly placed over my mouth.
"Be quiet! Everything's gonna be okay! I'll keep you safe!"
Looking up with tears pooling out of my eyes I saw a man in his later twenties with dark brown hair and a bit of facial hair but I couldn't find any markings on his body which terrified me.
Whimpering I just began to cry until a large house came in to view.
The man rushed in to the house and quickly rushed me to a bathroom and set me on the toilet.
"Laura! Laura!" I heard him scream as he ran out of the bathroom.
Watching him in fear I began to cry even harder.
"Riley? What's wro- oh my god" suddenly a blonde haired woman came in to view and covered her mouth.
Cowering away from her in fear I jumped off the counter and panicked as I instantly fell to my knees.
"Oh! Are you okay?!"
She exclaimed dropping to her knees in front of me causing me to flinch back slightly.
"S-sorry. Does she speak English?" The woman looked behind her at her husband.
"I don't know I saw her out there and I couldn't leave her to be shot"
She turned aback to me and I saw tears running down her face.
Shifting uncomfortably I slowly sat up and wiped her tear away .
She laughed slightly and pulled me in a hug.
"Your safe now.." She muttered.
