"What the hell are you doing here?! Are you crazy!?" Roman whisper yelled as Drake helped me to my feet.
"Uhm yeah. I guess" I sighed.
"You came here with Julia and emery didn't you?" He sighed.
I looked at him shocked and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Uhm yeah, actually I did. How'd you know?"
"I just helped them leave" he sighed my eyes widened.
"Wait they just ditched me?" I exclaimed.
"I'm sure they probably thought you already escaped" Roman rolled his eyes.
"Well I didn't! I'm still here!" I muttered crossing my arms as I pouted slightly.
"We'll talk about this later. Got it?" Roman looked at me.
Nodding I watched as he ran off to his dad.
"Okay now let's get what we came here for before we get any more distracted" Drake sighed grabbing my hand and dragging me to a booth where he got a few things.
"There now let's go" he turned to me still holding my hand tightly.
Blushing slightly I nodded and silently thanked it for being so dark.
Going back to his place I sat on the makeshift counter as made the food.
"So.. Do you live here alone?" I asked looking around the empty place.
He tensed and nodded.
"Yeah"
Taking the hint that he didn't wanna talk about I let it go.
Moving slightly on the counter I instantly regretted it as the huge bruise on my side bumped in to the cupboard.
Hissing I pain loudly, I gently placed my hand on my side.
Drake immediately turned around.
"Are you okay?" He exclaimed worry covering his whole face.
Nodding slightly I carefully hopped of the counter.
"Uhm yep I'm fine" I lied hiding my wince.
He looked at me hesitantly before nodding.
"Here the foods done" he handed me a bowl.
We both sat on the floor and ate talking and laughing about different things.
"Who would have known Mr. Muscles would be so good and cooking" I teased as we finished our food.
He laughed and rolled his eyes.
"And who knew skinny Minny could eat so much" he shot back.
"Hey you ate more than I did!" I laughed.
He chuckled and stood up and held his hand out.
Taking his hand he pulled me up and I tried to stand put a shooting pain went up my leg and lost my footing.
Drake quickly wrapped his arm around my waist, stopping me from falling and sighed.
"Your a bad liar"
Blushing slightly he picked me up bridle style and led me to what assumed what was his room and gently.
Looking up at him I watched as he grabbed a cloth that was wet a dabbed the bruises.
Hissing I through my head back in to the pillow.
"Jesus Christ. Whoever these guys were they really didn't leave an inch of skin uninjured" Drake hissed obviously angry.
"Yeah, no kidding" I replied my teeth gritted in pain.
"Alright you hang in there I'll be right back" Drake muttered setting the washcloth on his nightstand and heading out of the room.
Sighing I got comfortable on the bed and stared up at the ceiling and smiled as a saw a million tiny little glowing stars, they reminded me of the ones in my room, excpwt his were blue and mine were green.
Smiling softly I saw a small sphere that was obviously Atria.
Smiling sadly I felt myself remembering the beautiful planet full of peculiar wildlife and covered in beautiful plants that glue at certain moon sets or the bright blue color the moon was.
Suddenly the door opened and drake in with a small wooden like cup.
He sat on the edge if the bed and carefully helped me sit up.
"Here this should make the bruises heal and disappear" he explained.
Taking the cup from his hand I looked down at the cups contents and scrunched my nose in disgust as I looked down at the dark red blood colored liquid with ground plants in it.
"What is this?" I exclaimed looking up at the cute atrians in front of me.
"Its cypher....and a little bit if my blood. But that's how cypher works. I'll explain later just drink it you baby" he sighed.
I shook my head.
"No way dude! Who knows how many STDs you've got" I teased.
He rolled his eyes and smirked.
"I'll have you know atrians are superior and can't contract stds so your fine now just fucking drink it!" He laughed.
Sighing I groaned softly before clenching my eyes shut and quickly drinking it.
Quickly handing him the cup I went to spit it out but drake quickly covered my mouth.
Squeaking in surprise I glared at him.
"The longer you let it sit in your mouth the grosser it'll taste!" He stated in a sing sing voice.
Rolling my eyes I let out a muffled groan before quickly swallowing it.
Slowly drake removed his hand an do coughed slightly.
"That's was fucking disgusting! I hate you!" I whined throwing myself back on the bed.
"Yeah yeah, you can thank me in the morning when all your bruises are gone" I could practically hear him roll his eyes.
Suddenly the sound of his front door opening startled us.
"Shit! Here!" Drake quickly jumped up and tossed me a heavy hoodie.
Quickly putting it on I let my hair down.
"Stay here" Draven ordered before grabbing a bat and slowly edging out if the room.
I waited a little bit until he came back.
"It's just Roman" he sighed putting the bat back under his bed.
Getting off the bed I followed him out to the living room.
Roman turned and his eyes widened.
"Oh whoa. You guys work fast don't you?" He sighed.
Blushing my eyes widened.
"What?! No we were-"
"Anyways that's not why I came. Do you realize how stupid and dangerous it was for you to bring them here? It was even more dangerous with than just you!" He scolded.
"How do you know it was my idea?!" I exclaimed.
"Uh, let's face it Kira your the only one crazy enough to think about doing something this reckless" drake sighed.
"Hey! I can't tell if that was a compliment or an insult so I'm going to pretend you never said that" I sent him a quick glare.
"Kira. I'm not kidding this is serious. What the hell were you thinking?!" Roman yelled.
Sighing I looked down.
"I know but I was trying to help. Julia. She's got cancer and she's giving up. She's being released Tuesday" I gritted my teeth gripping the back of one of the kitchen chairs tightly.
"I know but the cypher alone won't do it, its not going to work unless atrian blood is mixed with it and even then it might not work, it could make it worse depending in her body state" Roman sighed.
Sighing I nodded.
"I know that now. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused"
"Oh don't get me wrong I'm glad you came but if any of the guards who saw you tonight see you at school it won't be just our little secret anymore. If your gonna come here you've gotta at least disguise yourself or something" Roman sighed.
I nodded.
"And she'll be leaving tomorrow morning. We need to help sneak her out and her mom will take it from there",Drake explained.
Roman nodded.
"Alright I'll see what I can do. Just don't do anything stupid until them okay?" Roman looked between us.
We nodded.
"Alright I'll see you in the morning then" roman gave me a hug and bro fisted Drake before leaving.
As soon as the door closed
Drake chuckled and threw me over his shoulder.
"Ah!! Drake put me down" I yelped smacking his butt playfully.
"Aye!" He chuckled.
Laughing I rolled my eyes as he dropped me down on the bed.
He took off his shirt and pants while I just left what I had on.
He shut the light off and got in the bed with me.
Climbing under the covers I turned so I was facing the wall.
"Goodnight mr.muscles" i teased softly tucking my arms under my pillow.
"Yeah yeah shut up and go to sleep skinny Minny" Darke chuckled.
I laughed and rolled my eyes before trying to go to sleep.
After a while of still not behind able to sleep i turned around so i was facing drake and saw he was looking at me.
Blushing slightly i smiled softly up at him.
"Can't sleep?" He sighed.
I shook my head and puffed up my cheeks.
He chuckled slightly.
"You look like a chipmunk" he commented.
Frowning I let out the air in my mouth and pouted.
"Meany"
"Oh be quite you loser" he rolled his eyes.
I just pouted even more and we stared at each other for a while more.
"Ya know... Its been a long time since I had some real company", he sighed.
I smiled softly and grabbed his arm.
"Well I'm glad because I had a lot of fun today even i f it was a little crazy and reckless" I rolled my eyes laughing slightly.
He chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah.."
Soon I saw him begin to fall asleep.
Suddenly he looked at me and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Stop staring and go to sleep" he ordered.
"Aye aye captain" I muttered tiredly.
Slowly I felt my eyes flutter close and buried my face in his warm hard chest.
