Willow starts crying so Haymitch offers to calm her down. "It's ok, Sweetheart", he says to Willow. She starts calming down and he stands there, rocking her in his arms until she falls asleep again. When I see this, I realize that Peeta and I have definitely made the right choice in choosing Haymitch as Willow's god parent. If anything evser happened to us, Haymitch would protect her.

We leave Haymitch's house later in the afternoon, around 4, according to the position of the sun. Peeta and I make our way back to our house with Willow in one of my arms and my other hand holding Peeta's. We get home and I take Willow upstairs while Peeta goes to the kitchen to get a bottle for her. As soon as I put Willow in her crib she starts stirring. "Shhhhh", I say in an attempt to calm her. I here Peeta coming up the stairs and walking into the room, quietly. "Here you go", Peeta says to Willow when he starts feeding her from the bottle. She looks into his eyes, and he starts unintentionally smiling and I finally realize why I chose Peeta over Gale. Peeta has a natural goodness about him and he has a kind heart but after what happened to Prim, I could never forgive Gale. Peeta was the only person I have ever loved apart from my family and it will remain that way forever.

After Peeta puts Willow back in her crib, he takes the bottle downstairs and I stay next to Willow's crib making sure she gets to sleep. She starts trying to grab at my hand resting on the edge of the crib so I hold her hand and she wraps her hand around one of my fingers. She then slowly falls asleep and releases the grip on my hand. I stand there, with my hands resting on the crib. I'm to mesmerized by watching her sleep that I don't even hear Peeta come back upstairs. It's only until he wraps his arms around my waist that I realize he's there. We just stand there, together, watching our beautiful daughter sleeping. He kisses my neck and I wrap my arms around his neck. After awhile he stops kissing me and just stands there with his arms around my waist. For who knows how long we just stand there, as two people merged into one being. Peeta always makes me feel safe in his arms and I am dreading the moment when I'll have to let go.

After a while, we finally break apart, and go downstairs hand in hand and decide to have dinner. After dinner I go and lye down on the couch because I'm absolutely exhausted. Peeta comes and sits down next to me and I move over to lye my head on his lap. I lay there as he strokes my hair and after awhile I fall asleep on his lap.

When I wake up in the morning, I find that I either sleepwalked or Peeta carried me up to bed. I'm going to guess that Peeta carried me up here because he's asleep next to me, still in the clothes he was wearing yesterday, much like me.

I move around slightly on the bed to get more comfortable but I end up having to get up because Willow starts crying. I walk to Willow's room and pick her up, gently, from her crib. I hold her and pat her on the back, swaying from side to side, until she falls back to sleep.

I go and sit down on the plush chair that sits next to her crib. After a while, I fall asleep with Willow in my arms, asleep.

I wake up hours later to find Peeta sitting next to me, stroking Willow's hair. She must have woken up, if only for a short amount of time because she is sitting a little differently in my arms, meaning she moved around.

"Hi", Peeta says lightly when he sees that I'm awake. "Hey", I reply "How long have I been asleep?" "Only a few hours", Peeta replies. Felt like longer than that but that's probably just because I was asleep.
