Peeta leans down and kisses me gently on the forehead, then he kisses Willow as well. "I've got to go down to the bakery for a few hours then I'll be back. If you need anything just go see Haymitch. Alright?", Peeta says. "Alright", I reply, he smiles at me and I smile back. He then turns and leaves to go. I decide to get up from my spot on the chair in Willow's nursery and carry Willow to her crib. I set her down without waking her, thankfully. I stretch my back and neck which have payed for my falling asleep on the stiff chair. I walk downstairs, leaving the nursery door open incase Willow wakes up, so I can hear her. I find cheese buns in the oven, which Peeta must have only just turned off when he walked out. I grab them out and set them on the bench to cool down before sitting down and eating a few of them. I clean up then find I have nothing to do, nowhere to be. I walk upstairs to check on Willow, even though she is still asleep. I decide to go and make our bed. After that I open up a few windows in the house because it was starting to feel a bit stuffy. I stand by a window, feeling the breeze run its cool fingers through my hair and across my face. Winter will be upon us soon as well as the snow. Hopefully it won't get as bad as a few years ago. A few weeks before Christmas, Peeta and I got snowed in for 6 days straight. We couldn't leave the house and we had to ration our food sources. It wasn't too hard. We always have an abundance of excess food laying around. I finally decide on reading a book for a little while. I go to the study and grab the first book I see. I then go and sit on a seat in our siting room. While I'm reading, I realize just how incredibly boring the book is and I end up falling asleep with the book resting on my lap. I wake up hours later, to the sound of Willow crying and Peeta upstairs calming her down. I don't know why I ever had any doubt about having kids with Peeta. He's a natural at being a parent. I get up from my chair and stretch before going upstairs myself. I walk into the nursery, where Peeta stands, with Willow, who's just starting to fall back asleep, in his arms. I go over to Peeta and Willow. "Hi", Peeta says to me quietly, while putting Willow back in her crib gently. "Hi", I say back before hugging him. I bury my head in his chest. Peeta wraps his arms around me. We stand there for who knows how long before we finally decide to break apart. We walk out of Willow's room, hand in hand, to the sitting room, so we don't wake her up. We sit next to each other on the longer lounge. "How did it go at the bakery?", I ask Peeta. "Alright. I had to clear away a bit of snow around the doors and prepare it for winter. Looks like it won't be open for too long in winter again", Peeta says a little bit sadly. I know how much it means to him to keep the bakery open all the time, but it just won't happen in winter because of the snow. I lean over to Peeta and kiss him on the cheek then I move over a little bit to sit next to him. I rest my head on his shoulder and he puts his arm around me, and we stay that way, not wanting to move for anything.
