Since their creation, the Everards had been loved by many. This book, in particular, started it all. But since I first wrote it years ago, I had always wanted to revisit this story for editing. I had the honor to do so this year when it was acquired for publication here in the Philippines.
The new edition you just read is how I've always envisioned Ben and Agatha's story especially as I got to know them more in the stories of their siblings. I've learned a lot as a writer, and I hope I managed to reflect that in this edition. I'm looking forward to editing the rest of the books!
The rest of the series will focus on the adventures of the rest of the Everard siblings and they will introduce you to more scandals (beautiful and feisty bandits, unusual courtships, window-climbing adventures, mysterious brothels, runaway bastards, etc.) and more secrets about the Town. Check out the next chapter for the list of all the Town stories.
