Grell x Snake

Confession

Snake held Grell to calm her down. She had tensed up when she was almost hit. Ciel had nearly collapsed from shock, but Sebastian had caught him.
"Calm down.. It's alright, Grell." Snake tried as much as possible to calm Grell down, and maybe even have her take a nap.
"That was scary... He could have broken my nose or knocked out some of my teeth..." Grell worried about her appearance quite a bit.
"It's alright, Grell. Maybe you should take a nap. That might help you relax." Snake put Grell in her bed in the storage room.
"I'm too scared to sleep..." Grell his under the blankets. Snake fixed her so he could see her face.
"Is there any way I can help you calm down?" Snake tilted his head curiously.
Grell rolled over so there was enough room for Snake.
"Cuddle.." Grell said with a frightened tone.
"But..." Snake sat on the edge of the bed and looked at Grell.
"Please.." Grell rolled over so Snake couldn't see her face. She was getting a bit angry.
"What's wrong?" Snake poked Grell's cheek. She wouldn't do anything but ignore him.
"Tell me.. Please.. I love you.." Snake said. He kept poking Grell.
"Cuddle..." Grell pushed Snake down and hugged him.
"Alright, you win.." Snake cuddled up with Grell, and she started to calm down.
"Thank you Snake." Grell giggled.
"How could I turn you down? You're my best friend, maybe more then that.." Snake pet Grell's hair to calm her down.
"What do you mean?" Grell asked.
"Umm.." Snake was too shy to say it. He really wanted Grell to be his, and someday to have her as his wife.
"Snake?" Grell poked one of Snake's patches of scales.
"Will you be mine?" Snake asked without knowing it.
"S-Snake??" Grell started blushing. She had suffered a heartbreak, and she recalled everything about it. She teared up, and a few tears fell.
"Grell?! Don't cry.." He wiped away Grell's tears.
"Why did you do that?" Grell asked.
"I love you. I don't want you to be sad." Snake had finally confessed.
"Did you ask if I'd be yours?" Grell was blushing brightly now.
"Yes. I did." Snake replied to her.
"Then of course.." Grell's heartbeat grew faster.
Snake blushed and hugged Grell tighter. She didn't mind, but some thoughts raced in her head.
'What if he leaves me too? I don't want another heartbreak. It was hard to get over the last one, and it would be even harder is Snake left me too. I think I'm in love, but I'm too scared to say it to him. Does he really love me? I love him, but maybe he's having second thoughts.'
"I-I..." Grell was about to say it.
"Is something wrong? Do you need anything?" Snake asked.
"I-I... I, umm.." Grell was too nervous. She couldn't say it.
"Do you want tea? I can make you some.." Snake didn't know what was wrong.
"Do you truly love me?" Grell asked.
"I love you more than anything. Even snakes." Snake blushed.
"I-I love you more than the color red..." Grell hid her face in a pillow.
Snake moved Grell's head so she faced him.
"What are you doing?" Grell blushed. Snake was cold blooded, but the hand she felt on her cheek was warm and comforting. She closed her eyes halfway, and she felt something on her lips. She looked up, and it was Snake. He kissed her.
"S-Snake?!" Grell was shocked. She didn't expect Snake to do something like that.
'A kiss.. From Snake?!?!'
"What?" Snake was blushing. Grell hid her face in a pillow.
"Don't do that.." Grell was blushing bright red.
"Did you not like the surprise?" Snake asked.
"You surprised me.. Don't do that.." Grell kept her face hidden. She felt something on her back.
"Stop! Nooo!" Grell was surprised. Snake was petting her back to calm her down. He knew it wouldn't work, so he started to brush her hair.
"That feels nice don't stop brushing my hair.." Grell purred.
"Awww. You really like getting your hair brushed?" Snake asked.
"It feels nice especially when you brush it." Grell felt loved for once. She couldn't help it. She didn't feel like she was a nuisance anymore. She felt loved, and she liked it.
"Hmm.." Snake put down the hairbrush. He took something out of the closet and set it on Grell's back. It was a box, with a bright red bow on it.
"What's on my back?" Grell moved the box and rolled over. She admired the red bow.
"It's for you." Snake said.
Grell took off the bow and opened it cautiously. There were bright red dresses, one for night clothes and a few normal dresses.
"Thank you!" Grell saw one that caught her eye. It was bright red, and the belt was snake shaped. It was her favorite one.
"You're welcome, my dear Grell. You're my Shinigami princess, so I got you some new dresses to wear." Snake blushed.
"I have to pay you back somehow.." Grell said.
"No you don't. It's a gift, so you don't have to pay me back." Snake didn't want anything. He only cared about Grell's happiness.
Snake felt something on his back and lips. Grell hugged him and gave him a kiss.
