I attended a small university in West Virginia.I've always been a very high strung person, so naturally college was a difficult time for me. Particularly, around exam times. So to deal with the stress, I often found myself taking long walks around my neighborhood.
During my senior year, I found myself taking one such a walk in the early morning, after a heavy rainstorm. The sky was still reddish, and orange, and only a few of people had passed me.
Everything was still soaked, but I enjoyed the sounds of waterdrops fall down from awnings and windows sills to spatter on the cement below. The smell of fresh rain had a calming effect on me.
I decided to buy something at the mini-mart for a snack. I left mini-mart with a coffee and a candy bar. While I was walking away, I tried to open my candy bar with my teeth while I had a coffee in my other hand.
My candy bar slipped from my hand and fell into the puddle o n the sidewalk.
The candy bar was gone.
It didn't make sense at all, I mean, it was a puddle. It couldn't be that deep.
