The darkness...... it is back. It is here again, trying to pull me in. I must not give up. I cannot give up. I think of my family. For them. Always for them. I turn around to walk away but there is something that is keeping me in place. I cannot walk away no matter how much I try. It's like I keep walking in the same place over and over again. I hear a voice. Someone is calling out my name. Suddenly there is a flash of blue and..........

I wake up with a start, my heart pounding and my body covered in cold sweat. "You okay?" Kaitlyn calls out from the other side of the room.

"Yeah..... it was... just a bad dream." I smile at her reassuringly while my chest constricts in pain.

"Okay. I was just heading out to get some coffee, you want anything?"

"No thanks. But why are you up so early?"

"Early morning class." She sighs.

"That sucks. I don't have any of them." I give her a sympathetic look.

"You are a lucky bitch you know that?" she sighs. " Anyway I will see you later." With that Kaitlyn is out of the room leaving me alone with my thoughts. The dream... it's not my first time seeing it. It has repeated itself so many times that I am used to its appearance. But this one was different. The flash of blue...... I have never seen that before.

I sit there brooding over my dream for a bit before getting up for the day. Classes start today. I would be lying if said that I was not looking forward to it. It's literature after all.

I enter my class ten minutes early and find myself a seat in the corner. It's perfect as no one will bother me here. The more I stay hidden the better. I settle down as the professor enters. She begins the lecture by introducing herself as Professor Stinson and then goes on instructing us about the mechanics of this class. Thirty minutes into the lecture, I am completely engrossed and fascinated by the early European times that Mrs. Stinson is talking about. The class is disturbed by a knock at the door. All heads turn towards it. A tall boy enters the class. He walks in as if he owned the place and gives the professor a charming smile. "I am sorry I am late professor. It couldn't be helped."

Professor Stinson just smiles at him, a little too sweetly and says "No worries Mr. Ozera. Just make sure it does not happen again." I gape at the scene playing in front of me. That's it? Maybe I am missing some information here. Who must this guy be for the professor to suck up to him like that? I shake my head and let go of these thoughts as the lecture resumes. I had not realized that someone had come sit right beside me until the person started poking me.

"Excuse me?" I turn to glare at the person and stop to see Ozera smiling at me with bright green eyes. When did he come here?

"What do you want?" I ask him after recovering from the surprise.

"Isn't this lecture completely boring?" he says.

I just shrug at him and move away, listening to the lecture. Why is this guy bothering me? I really need to avoid encounters with good looking boys. Almost all of them have big fan clubs. I don't want to be in the spotlight for even the smallest reason. First that blue eyed devil and now this green eyed beast. My intention of lying low failed completely with The Streets. The effects of that would take time to wear off. I could feel the stares and whispers around me on my way to class. I don't .......

I am pulled out my thoughts by the annoying poking from beside me. Again.

"Can't you leave me alone?" I glower at him. It comes out a bit louder than I intended and all eyes turn to look at me with interest. Well, except one. Professor Stinson is looking at me with big angry eyes. "I will have to ask you to leave the class." She says in a dangerous voice pointing at me.

"But....." I open my mouth to explain myself but she interrupts me.

"You have no right to use that tone with Mr. Ozera. Leave. Now." This shocks me more than anything. She is kicking me out of the class not because I shouted in middle of her lecture but because I 'used that tone' with her Mr. Ozera. Unable to bear the humiliation, I pack my things and walk out of the class with tears welling up in my eyes.

Not sure where to go now, I walk a bit before seating myself under the shade of a big tree. Unable to hold it in any longer, I let go of all the anger and embarrassment in the form of tears. Kicked out of my first class here. Is this the new beginning that I was so looking forward to? I was wrong to hope that maybe things would change, maybe I could be happy after.......everything. All these depressing thoughts crash my mind and I start shaking. My breaths come out in short pants and I am unable to calm myself down.

A hand appears on my back out of nowhere, soothing me. I hear a deep voice whisper in my ear. "It's alright. You are fine. Calm down. Deep breaths."

With the help of the stranger beside me, I am able to control myself. The shaking stops and my breathing goes back to normal. I keep my head down, embarrassed to look up to the person who helped me out.

"Hey...It's okay. Don't hide." He says.

I look up slowly, and find myself staring into Ozera's green orbs. I jump up in shock and move away from him. Anger replaces shock and pick up my bag to get out of there when he speaks up, "Wait. Please."

"I don't want to hear you say anything."

"Just...please. I came to apologise. I did not mean for this to happen. And I also explained it to the professor. I did not know you had a problem......." I glare at him when he says that. "No I mean.....you know" he looks at me warily.

I sigh. "It's okay. As long as you don't speak about this incident to anyone. Ever." I give him my best stern eyes.

"What incident? Is this guy bothering you babe?" a voice speaks up from behind me. A voice that I know very well by now. He steps up beside me and I turn to look at him with my face full of dread.

"Happy to me babe?" he gives me his signature smirk.

"Salvatore, you have no business here." A cold voice speaks up. I turn to see Ozera, his demeanor completely changed. He looks at the devil with eyes so cold that it sends a shiver down my spine. The devil just smirks and answers him "Oh but I do dear Christian. It is definitely my business when you talk to my girlfriend." He wraps his hand around my waist and pulls me close.
