Margaret sat there, stared at the rain, thinking about going home, wishing she left this pain that filled her.

It was a peaceful time though, She finally got what she came for. Although she doesn't want to be here, she wants to be with her family, that no longer worries for her safety because she would be with them.

It was dark, night time, and Margaret couldn't sleep, but she was very tired though.

Right when Margaret started to doze off, lightning hit the cave and the roof fell apart. Margaret ran, but since she had never been in this area, she ran in a random direction.

Margaret just ran, she ran for hours, about a mile or two, but something strange happened, she wasn't even close to home! So Margaret ran in the wrong direction!

Margaret screamed so loud only because she had a longer walk back home!

She didn't know what to do, now she was REALLY lost! Margaret probably went the wrong way because once the lightning striked the cave, it made her rush, thinking she went the right way.

Margaret didn't know what to do. She just sat on a rock and stared into the dark distance with confusion.

She couldn't rest, nobody would probably be able to sleep after the rush of blood and got hit by a flash of pain, the lightning got to Margaret, and hit her spine.

Margaret had a plan, it would be to make a home for herself while she tried to reach home, but the only way she could get there is with a lot of energy, but she had no food or sleep, so Margaret had to wait.

She wanted to keep this plan in mind, but she didn't have anything to write on, or anything to write with! Until she remember that she had a notebook in her backpack! Along with food! She forgot about all these things she had.

She wrote down a plan with a pencil that was also in her bag:

Current Plan:

1. Gather items for shelter.

2. Make shelter.

3. Make a bed (use leaves or something similar).

4. Gather food (get berries).

5. Eat/rest for journey back.

6. Walk home (because running uses too much energy).

That is the plan!

Margaret started part one:

Gather items for shelter.

She also started to use the notebook also as a journal, so people could understand this struggle she faced while being stuck in the woods:

Journal Entry #1:

It is currently dark out, I have written myself a plan to return home, right now I have to gather things to make a temporary shelter so I have somewhere to stay. I have experienced so much pain and worry, there was a tornado that made me unable to go home, and a storm, which is still going on, how I got here is that I fell asleep and woke to the tornado, that is how I ended up in this mess.

Margaret closed the notebook and started to gather leaves and sticks to make her current home.
