It has been 3 months since Mia and the rest graduated from middle school, it is a new beginning
and life for Mia and her friends.
Even tho it was a new beginning Mia didn't go back to her old normal self, she stood being someone
she was not. "Why don't you go back to the real you ? after all it is a new year , and it looks like over
here you can be yourself without being judged " said Damian "plus the real you looks more beautiful
than this, than this fake Mia, the real you gives me pre-mature ventricular contractions " , Mia smiled
as she knew that meant that it made his heart skip a beat, Mia blushed and smiled at Damian but ...
she knew she couldn't go back to her normal self as she was too afraid to go through the same thing
all over again, she didn't wanted to feel the pain again. "No, I'm sorry D but I cant, you know that I'm
afraid of it, " Mia said, " Alright Mia we will be kind this time and respect your response, " Miguel said.
As they walked and explored their new education building the bell for 1st period rang and the 3 friends
were separated in different directions saying goodbye to each other.
Once Mia got to her 1st period she decided to just get in and sit on the first chair she saw empty during
the whole class Mia noticed a guy kept staring at her, when the time to present themselves Mia said her
full name and the fact about her being very clever and her goals of the year. Once it was the boy's turn
to present himself he said "My name is Salvador Valen, I like playing sports don't want to show off
but I'm really good at them, my goals for this year date any cute chick on this school" Mia rolled her
eyes as thinking what a jerk that guy was, as the day passed Mia, Miguel and Damian only saw each
other at lunch and in other few classes. At the end of the day, they went to the park and discussed their
day and talked everything that happened. As it was getting late the 3 friends had to say
goodbye to each other for the day. Not an exacly goodbye as they were texting each other on their
way home and at home. On her way home Mia saw the guy on her 1st period class and decided to
fast walk so he wouldnt see her, it seem it worked as she didnt heard the guy's voice calling her, as soon
she got home , she ate dinner and did her homework while video chating with the guys. At the time
it was 10:30 of the night Mia and the rest decided to say goodbye for the day as the guys noticed
that Mia was tired and wanted to let her rest for the day. As Good night being said Mia turn off the
lights and fell asleep.
