A Mermaid's Tale

Chapter 2

Dimitri  POV

As we exited the front door of the pack house we heard howls signaling me where they were at. Damian and I sprinted towards the directions of the howling and  we shifted, ripping all of our clothes off in the process. 

 I look to my left and see Damian's muddy brown wolf running next to my pure midnight black wolf matching my silver eyes. We ran into the forest, jumping over logs edging closer to the sounds of war. We finally arrived to the fight and I began looking for the leader of the rouges. I couldn't find him so I teared through 3/4 of the opponents. Searching for the man who has caused distress and death upon my pack members. 

 I saw a matted grey wolf with his back turned to me jumping  at one of my female warriors. I charged at the rouge and stroked him in the gut sending him flying into a tree.

" Are you okay?" I linked my female warrior Tessa.

" Yes, Alpha. Thank you." she sprinted off to help the other remaining wolves fighting. I walked over to the matted wolf slowly getting up from the bottom of the tree. I didn't expect to see him. I  thought he died when we were younger and he turns up here to do this to me and my pack.

" Hello brother" he snarled

Aphrodite's POV 

After getting away from that dumb ass shark I continued on my journey to where ever the hell I end up.  I am glad that I made sure to bring my necklace because I know I can't survive in the water all on my own. I hear howling in the distance so I decide to go check it out. I swim towards the shore and put my necklace on so I can get out of the ocean. 

I get out and all I can see is trees. It sounded like a battle and me being curious I wanted to go see what was happening. But, that would have to wait because I care more about food than anything else. I began to walk along the shore looking for something edible when I heard the sound of branches crunching in the distance. It scart the fuck out of me so I jumped back in the water and just poked my head back out of the water so I can see what was there. 

Dimitri POV

WHAT THE FUCK!!! I didn't know that I had  brother. All this time I believed that I was alone in this world but I got an evil brother that somehow hid all these years. 

"Yo! What was that?" Damian asked me. 

"I don't know man! This is crazy to find out I have a brother that has it in for me." I answered

"We need to figure this out because your brother could challenge your claim as an alpha." He said

" I won't let him. I need to go figure this out. I'm going to clear my head don't follow me. Take the rest of the rouges to the cells and begin the questioning." I demanded.

I started on the long walk to the beach that was conveniently next to our pack house. I was just thinking about everything. I was thinking about going to see Rose to let off some steam but I decided against it because this made me start thinking about my mate. 

I don't think I have a mate because nothing ever goes my way and I have been searching for three years now and I still haven't found her. That's why I lay with Rose. i just cant wait for my mate to come. 

Aphrodite's POV

I was about to get out of the water when I saw the most handsome man I have ever seen sitting on the sand in the beach. I swam a little closer to shore to see his face better and I couldn't believe my eyes. His deep chiseled chin with his 3 day un-shaved beard sitting on his chin. His luscious shiny hair glistening in the light looks as soft as the sand on the bottom of the ocean floor, and His eyes, which sparkled as the dim moon light reflect off the sea. I was frozen in place, unable to move from my spot. 

He looked deep in thought. I wondered what he was thinking about. I mean it doesn't really matter, he looked sexy while doing so.

 I want to walk out of the water and just go and kiss him but I can't. Not yet.
