Chapter 11

Zendaya's POV

~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip a few months~~~~~~~~~~~

This is it. This is the big day. I have completely healed and don't have to use crutches anymore. I can't wait to finally be done with high school. I was running down the stairs when I lost my balance and fell over the rail. Thankfully something broke my fall. I heard groaning and I looked down and saw that I landed on Trevor. Whoops. "I am so sorry. Are you ok- hold on.... What were you doing behind the stairs anyway?" He groaned before getting up and helping me up. "I was.....practicing my graduation speech." I giggled at him and skipped into the kitchen. He chuckled and followed me. We started cooking breakfast together and ended up making a mess but we didn't care. We would clean it up later. I looked at the time and ran upstairs to get ready. I let my hair fall in loose curls and got dressed. I ran downstairs to see Trevor waiting for me. We got to school and it was like walking into a zoo. People were everywhere. Paper balls were being thrown and textbooks were being ripped. Trevor grabbed my hand and we made our way to our lockers and slipped into homeroom. We sighed as we sunk into our seats.

~~~ Time skip end of ceremony~~~~ I changed out of my graduation gown and waited for Trevor at his car. While standing there, Victoria came up to me. "Hey,girl." I ignored her and looked away. She scowled and dug in her purse for something. She grabbed a pen and looked at me. "Gimme your yearbook." I gave it to her and she signed it. She gave me hers and I scrawled in big black letters.

She smiled at me and sashayed away. Trevor came jogging up to me with Logan and Bella behind him. " I told you she'd be here." Logan said nudging Trevor. I rolled my eyes and hugged the girls. We were planning to hang out after the graduation but Logan's family wanted to take her out of town and Bella was celebrating with hers as well. So it was just me and Trevor. We were supposed to be hanging out at home. Just watching T.V. I got in the car and trevor started driving. It was a while before I relized we were going the wrong way. "Trevor where are we going?" He chuckled but didn't answer. We finally got to where we were going and trevor grabbed my hand.

Trevor's POV
I took her to a hill that overlooked the park and had a great view of the sunset. She was in awe just standing there so I grabbed the box out of my back pocket.

I think we all know what'sabout to happen.

She turned around and I got on one knee. She covered her mouth and I took a deep breath.

"Zendaya Maree Steomer Coleman, I have spent this past year with you by my side and never have I felt so happy and complete as I was. Not with Victoria or anybody else. And I know it's just something about you. Maybe it's your smile or your laugh or maybe it's how you make me feel like I can't live without you. I knew there was something different about you from the day I first laid eyes on you. I was a bit jerky then but you saw through it. I spent so long looking for the one girl that would make me feel this way and now I finally found you. So I'm asking you, Zendaya Coleman, if you would make me the person you spend the rest of your life with."

She looked at me in my eyes and nodded. I guess she couldn't say anything because she was crying so hard. I hugged her and we made out. She was crying on my shirt and I was shedding tears, too. Hey I get emotional. I started singing a song that I made just for this moment.
