Beep! Beep!

My body feels heavy. I wake up to bright lights and machines. I look around.

I'm in a hospital I think. I feel a hand on top of mines. I follow it to the person it belongs to. Jax! What's he doing here? Why am I here?

"Jax," I shake him. He wakes with a grumble. He looks at me, "Oh, you're awake!"

He hugs me. I practically inhale his smell. He smells like home.

"What happened yesterday? Why am I here?"

"You left my flat after you saw me with another girl. You almost got raped but I saved you in time. The offenders are now in jail. So don't worry."

My head hurts. I hold it in pain and the images flash by. Jax. The incident.

Tears slip out. I start sobbing. "How much can happen in one day?"

Jaxon wraps his arms around me. I cry into his shirt. "Thank you for saving me. If you weren't there who knows what would have happened."

"Don't cry anymore. Just forget the whole incident. Also what you saw yesterday at my flat was a misunderstanding. That girl has been bugging me ever since she saw me. She lives on the 3rd floor. She pulled me on top of her yesterday and kissed me. Do you understand that? She kissed me! I didn't kiss her. I told her off after you left. She won't bother us anymore. I ran after you. I've been basically following you. Knowing you I knew that you needed time to cool down. That's why I was there when you were in trouble yesterday. I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday. I love you so much and I now know that you feel the same way about me. I love your eyes, your smile, your nose, your neck, your tiny toes, everything about you. Know that you're all I ever wanted and all I ever want. I love you."

I sob into his shirt even more. "I love you too." I mumble quietly.

"What did you say?" he smirks.

"I love you, you jerk. I know you heard me the first time."

With that he captures my lips in a kiss. It was full of love and passion. We break out for air, gasping.

"Stay with me here for the summer. And then we can leave for home together."

"Okay." I agree
