Extra- Chunin exams

"Finally! We've made it!" Parker hugs the wall of Konoha with a satisfied look, she dramatically slides down it panting slightly. It's been awhile since they last visited Konoha, they were arriving for the chunin exams since all the Kages arrived to see the final round. Gaara turns to Parker and presses a tender kiss to her forehead before handing her the unruly karura so he could go to the Hokages office for a meeting before the exams.
Parker sets karura down and holds her hand leading her to the Nara estate, she had the road memorized. Ai was curled up on her back asleep, they were 6 now and Shikadai was 12 and finally graduated from the academy. This would be the first time they participated in the chunin exams and Parker was pumped to watch it. Karura had learned to use her ears and sand more then anything else, she could feel the vibrations in her sand as people moved or even spoke. She was determined to be a great konochi. Ai had learned some medical ninjutsu from Parker, so far he could only heal small animals but Shukaku helped him through with using his vast amount of chakra.
Parker arrived at the Nara household to see Temari sitting next to Amanda on the porch. She chuckled to herself at the Sazuke whose tail moved in a lazy motion. A small bundle was in Amanda's arms as she laughs along with something Temari had said, Parker smiled to herself making her presence known.
"Is that a baby in your arms or a tiger?" She watched Amanda give her a sly look and pull down the blanket.
"Both!" She yelled, a small girl with white hair and bright green eyes was in a small tiger onesie. Parker laughed at her friends wonderful humor and sat herself next to Amanda to get a good look at the baby.
"What's her name?" She places karura in her lap as she tries to peer into the blanket as well.
"Kibō" Amanda grinned, hope, it was a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Karura traced her fingers lightly over kibō's face taking in her features.
"What about this little trouble maker?" Temari scoops karura into her arms, neither of them have met or heard about them yet. Parker wanted to tell them in person.
"That's karura" Parker starts, Temari gasps looking at her with wide and teary eyes.
"Y-you didn't" she clasped her hand over her mouth, her eyes softening to the small girl in her arms. Temari ran her fingers over karura's face, she did look an awful lot like her own mother.
"This is Ai" Parker pulls her sleepy son off her back and into her arms, he cracks his eyes open and tries to rub his eyes.
"He looks just like Gaara" Temari coo's to him, he smiled to her and politely bows. Karura jumps from her lap and turns to Parker with a frown.
"Mom! I wanna explore!" She pouts, Parker laughs shaking her head.
"Wouldn't you much rather watch the chunin exams? You can see your cousin Shikadai kick butt!" She tries to persuade her energy filled daughter, she whipped around to stare at Parker with her cloudy eyes.
"Fine!" She pouts, crossing her arms like Gaara normally does.
Temari stood taking karura's hand and walking inside the house turning the tv on to watch the exams take place. Ai Sat in Parkers lap, watching his mother and aunt Amanda watch the first round. The buzzer rang dropping both sides into a hole filled with ink, Shikadai's team emerges from it making Amanda and Parker scream cheers.
They followed the next round watching intensely, it was a game of capture the flag. Ai turned to karura and explained what was happening on the screen to her, Parker smiled at her children relying on each other. Karura didn't care much for the tv because even wth her sand all she could do was listen, karura had told Ai that she hated that she couldn't see and from then on he had told her that he would be her eyes. Gaara had yet to teach her the third eye with her sand, they wondered if with that technique she could see.
That night they had a feast, all of them. Amanda dragged along Kakashi who had married Amanda shortly after kibō was conceived. Like Parker they didn't wish for a large wedding and was happy with paper.
Soon the last round was underway, they stood in the stands cheering for Shikadai. Fights happened one after another, Shikadai was finally up which made Amanda and Parker scream for him to win. Ai stayed in Temari's lap as karura was being held sitting on the safety bar. Karura screamed as well, she yelled for him to kick some butt.

"Kazekage," a woman's sweet voice turns to him, she was a kage as well "is that your wife and children out there?" She points to the screaming Parker and the equally as loud karura.
"Yes" he softly smiled to himself, he watched how excited they were and imagined the day he could see his own children fight in the chunin exams.

"Mom what's going on?" Karura frowns, Baruto had just been caught cheating by his own father.
"The Hokages son was caught cheating" she frowned, karura's head whipped back to the fight. A strange man with white hair stepped into the ring, he smashed his fist against the Hokages stomach sending him flying. The stands started to crumble, Parker but her finger drawing blood and made a hand sign summoning Kanashimi. She emerged in her dragon form everyone grabbing people and children to help them, Kanashimi kept the crumbling concrete up as Amanda held kibō close and jumped on Sazuke's back who took her to safety. Ai and karura used their sand to help anyone caught under the concrete. Parker grabbed them both and ran out of the arena once it was clear no one else was left in there.
They got to where Temari was, Parker whipped around to see Gaara and the rest of the Kages walking into a black hole.
"Where's daddy going?" Ai turned with a worried look, she smiled to him.
"Daddies going to kick some ass" she laughed at his proud expression "now Ai why don't you help me heal these people?" She smiled handing karura to Temari, Ai followed her determined to the wounded. They both helped Sakura and the medics to heal anyone and everyone.
Hours passed before Gaara and the Kages returned from what they were doing, he walks over to where she laid exhausted on the ground. Karura jumped into his arms as Ai slept against Parkers stomach.
"Did you kick butt?" Karura looks at him with hopeful eyes, he nods to her with a small smile.
"Karura did great in helping people evacuate and Ai's medical ninjutsu is promising, now come here so I can heal you" he sits next to her as she presses her hands to his chest to heal him, he looks down at her and kisses her gently.
The chunin exams, karura was excited to participate.
