Shots fired
Screams heard
Bodies down
Dozens ruthlessly murdered
More injured
A community mourning
Massacre all over news
Why must this have happened?
These were people
Innocent people
They just wanted to go out and be free
But freedom is always shot down by hatred.
Hatred
Unneeded hatred.
Hatred that has killed millions
Even before America was a country.
We need to kill hate
And resurrect love.
