I watched my little sister walk into her first class before continuing on to mine. As I walked into my algebra class I saw one of the guys in my class standing up and glanced at his butt. Yea I'm gay and everyone knows but for some reason girls still flirt with me. I mean I won't deny that I'm sexy but I don't feel anyway towards them.
I sat down next to my best friend Jasmin and started talking to her about the party. Jasmin listened as I talked with a wishful look on her face. Jasmin was one of the many girls who liked me, but she new that I didn't swing that way and she respected that, which is why she's my best friend. I know that one day she'll find her mate and be happy with him and that's all I want for her. I thought about Scarlett, my little sister who was turning 16 today. She'd most likely find her mate today unless something goes wrong. She's just growing up so fast. She looks just like our mom Hazel and I look just like our dad Sam. I continue thinking about this until our algebra teacher calls my name and tells me I'm needed in the office. I leave and head down the hall to the office where they told me I was needed at home for a family emergency. I quickly got in my car and drove home seeing the unfamiliar black sports car in the driveway. Before I even opened the door to the house my mom had and I was face to face with a man I had only seen on tv and that wasn't even what surprised me most.
