NARRATORS POV
Scarlet's not a very social girl. She has a A Boyfriend. A best friend. And that's about it. she grew up In a very small town called watsika. In the town it only had about 5,000 people. When scarlet found out she was moving to the one and only New York City she got very nervous. How could she make new friends, she is beyond shy is not very easy to make friends with. Oh how scarlet a life was gonna turn upside down and she didn't even know it yet.
The car was silent. Troye Sivan was Blaring on the radio and cornfields will filling up their views. Scarlet knew why no one was talking. She always knew. her mother and father always seemed to be in an argument. They would argue from money to what they were gonna have for dinner. It always turned into a big huge ordeal. At least there not arguing Scarlet thought.
They were far from the big apple. They were still crushing the streets of Indiana. "Get some sleep honey, we have a long way." Said Scarlets mother. Scarlet was already pretty exhausted from all the packing. While listening to suburbia scarlet drifted off into a deep slumber
SCARLETS POV
"Mark we can't keep this up, all we do is fight and it's not healthy" said my mom. I was lying my head on the seat pretending to be asleep. What were they talking about? A divorce? That couldn't happen. That would break our family apart. "Honey we will work everything out, we have a baby on the way we can't give up." Said mark. Was my soon to be brother the only thing keeping this family together? My parents soon apologized to each other and made up like always.
Their were so many questions going on in my head but I couldn't process Any of them because all I saw through my window was big huge tall buildings off in the distance.
