Figuring Things Out

I hid behind a tree deep in the forest. The blue flames that had surrounded me were now gone as I struggled for breath.

Everything was silent except the crickets and my head. I needed to figure out what happened back there.

What was the blue fire? How can a fire even be blue? Why was I on fire and not burning? There were too many questions and I couldn't think of any answers as I stared into the darkness. After a few minutes I could hear sierens and I saw red and blue flashing lights.

Of course they called the police! Who wouldn't? Now the main question was how do I get out of this? I didn't know the neighborhood and even how to get back to the orphanage. Run. This was the only answer I could think of while cornered by police.

I kept sprinting deeper and deeper into the forest and then I could see lights from other houses. I decided to hide near one of those for the rest of the night. It didn't seem like such a bad idea since I didn't have any other ideas. I've never run from the police before.

I found a place under someone's porch to sleep that night and if I wasn't so exhausted I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all. I almost didn't actually, but as I thought of all my questions I slowly drifted away into sleep.

"Sam? Sam are you there?" I could hear a slightly familiar voice coming from outside the porch. I opened my eyes to the blinding sun and the person standing in front of it. I could only see their silhouette.

"Finally I found you." The voice sounded relieved, "Come on get out from there, we have places to go." I crawled out and sat up. I was surprised at I saw the silhouette was Enzo. Confused I asked, "Why...are you here?" Enzo rolled his eyes, "You know why I'm here now come on!" "No I don't. Wait are you trying to take me to the police!?!"

Now Enzo looked confused, "Sam what are you talking about?" "What are you talking about!?!" We stood there in silence for a moment before Enzo asked, "Do you not know about what the blue fire is?" I shook my head, "Of course I don't! How in the world would I know what blue fire is? Or how it didn't burn me?"

"Well," Enzo started, "I guess I might as well tell you now." "Tell me what?" I interrupt. "The truth." He replied, "Sam that blue fire you saw and made was hell fire. A fire that can only be made by Satan." "So how did I make it.?" I asked "Well I should tell you this first. Sam this world is covered in demons. Some small some big but all demons. And I'm an exorcist that gets rid of those demons." I'm too shocked with disbelief as he continues "There's something different about you though Sam. You're certainly not Satan but you're also not human... Sam you Satan's daughter."

I stand there. My mind was blank because I didn't know what to think. Apparently Enzo had run out of things to say too. Really how do you react to someone calling you the daughter of Satan right to your face? I barely even knew the guy! I was able to manage one word, "How?" So he explained, "Well the only way is that your half human, from your mother, and half demon, from Satan." "How do I know you're not lying?" Enzo sighed, "Why don't you follow

Don't worry I'm working on part three! I'll try and work on as much as I can! Hopefully I can get it out in a few days!
