I woke up to my fucking alarm clock. I hate the sound of a alarm clock and usually I set my phone but I got lazy last night and just set the clock.

Anywho, I got up and walked to my bathroom to get in the shower. After running through the shower, I got out and walked to my closet. I just put on a fitted gray dress and some high top vans. I put my hair in a ponytail and did some daily makeup.

I walked downstairs to see Kelly on my couch eating -- as usual.

"What are you doing here?"

"Waiting on you so you can take me to school."

"Mm. Where's my mom."

"Kitchen; with your dad."

"Nope. MOM, I'M ABOUT TO LEAVE." I yelled towards the kitchen.

"Okay. Have a good day baby."

We left and got in the car and headed to school.

Me and Kelly have made up and me and Nicki are still friends. No one knows who spread the rumor but Kelly and Nicki said they didn't do it. Also, Nicki apologized to Kelly for accusing her and everyone is on good terms for now. I just pray that the people that started the rumor hope I don't find out they did it.

Hopefully, today will be the first day I see Carter since our intercourse. He did not come to school yesterday and when I tried to text him but he didn't reply. I just hope he is here today. I wouldn't mind seeing his sexy ass again.

I still haven't told anyone about what happened between us and I don't plan on it. I just want to keep this to myself for now.

I walked in the classroom and seen Carter sitting at his desk. That immediately brought my spirits to a happier place. He looked at me and we made eye contact. He smiled and I smiled back at him. He sent me a wink and I have to say it made my knees buckled. I don't know what it is about this man that make me go crazy, but he definitely does.

I walked over to his desk since not a lot of people were in class yet.

"Good Morning Ms.Knowles."

"Good morning, Shawn. Why weren't you here yesterday."

"I had a lot to do yesterday, dealing with.. you know."

"Yeah. I texted you but you didn't answer. As long as everything is good."

"Yeah. I was talking to my lawyer and when I seen your message, it was to late to text back."

"Okay. As long as your good."

He laughed "Bey, I really appreciate it."

"Alright Mr.Carter. I talk to you after school."

He chuckled "Alright Ms.Knowles."

I went to my seat and sat down before pulling my stuff out my bag getting ready for class when the bell rung.

He went and shut the door. Before he got back to his seat someone knocked on the door. He walked back to the door and opened and I almost died when I seen who it was.

"Why are you late."

"Sorry Mr.Carter, I had some issues I had to handle at the office."

"Come in and take a seat Locke."

I put my head down. Of course, every time something goes right in my life I get another curve ball.

I looked up and looked at Carter looking at me. I nodded my head to tell him that I will be good as long as he don't talk to me.
