Chapter 8

Next Day...

Cassie's POV:

I got up early and headed to Math. I didn't know anyone so I practically slept through the entire class. 

I recieved a text from Nick

Hey Cas! I don't know what happened last night, you seemed bother'd wanna come over tonight? :D

Sure I'd love to, Im leaving Class now so I'll head over.. :)

Take your time 😘

I was excited to see my boyfriend, He was super sweet and I enjoyed his comanpany. Of course I wasn't gonna rush anything. 

I arrived at Nick's about 15 minutes later and got out of my yellow buggie. 

I walked up to the door and knocked.. 

I knocked again still no response

I practically banged on the door this time

The door swings open and Nick stands there

"Umm what took so long to answer Iv'e been knocking for quite sometime." I yell

"I.. uhh.. was cleaning up a few things.." He stammered

"Um okay.." I pushed past him and into his house

I just observed and then turned back to him

He looked at me with a nervous smile "So are you hungry?"

Did he really just blantly change the subject.. ugh. I will let it slide

He looked like a mess, his hair was crazy and the buttons on his shirt were not even buttoned correctly.

What the fuck was he doing, was he having some crazy dance party he was embarresed to let me in on. 

Boys are so confusing I swear..

I was not even in the mood to eat, I just wanted to talk with my boyfriend like normal couples.

He was in the Kitchen so I went into there.

"I'm not really hungry, I ate earlier and I just wanna talk." 

"Alright, you sure? I can make something its not a problem." He smiled

"Yes I'm sure." I giggled

"Okay, then what do you wanna talk about..." He asked uncertainly

As I was about to respond his phone went off

*beep* *beep*

He took it out of his pocket and quickly shot a message back, smiling and then slide it back into his pocket.

"What's so funny..?" I asked being the annoying curious girl I am

"Oh.. nothing just a funny text from Justin" He said giving me a reassuring smile

The thought of Justin made me cringe and I was further than far to even begin to talk about that. 

"Well, okay. Anyways I don't know what I wanna talk about." I laughed

He smiled and led me down to the basement.. "Wanna watch another movie?" 

"....Sure I guess." I didn't want to watch a stupid movie again. Is this all we were ever gonna do. I need something exciting in my life.

"Actually  I have something more fun we can do." I said flirty but it sounded better in my head than it came out.

He sat down and I sat down with my legs to the side of his. I layed my hand on the back off his neck and pulled his face into mine. Once he realized what I was doing his lips moved in sync with mine. 

*Beep* *Beep*

He quickly pulled away but I yanked him back into the kiss.

"Cas...Cas..!" He pulled away again.

"What the hell Cassie, my phone went off..!" He yelled

"What, your phone is more important than me..?"

"This could be a serious situation, let me just check it.."

I got off of him and stumbled to the bathroom to have a breather. Why is he being a jerk all of a sudden. I slammed the door in hopes he would know I was pissed.

I sat in there for about 2 minutes and until I heard a knock at the door.

"babe, let me in."

I got up not because he was there but because the bathroom wasn't the most comfiest place to chill. I opened the door and walked past him. 

"It was only Justin, no need to get so worked up."

Again the name made me cringe.. but I felt stupid. If he has only been texting Justin than I got all worked up for nothing. 

"Im sorry..." I said turning around

He smiled and pulled me into his chest "It's okay sorry I responded.."

*Beep* *Beep*

I looked down at the side table and his phone lit up

I didn't see who the message was from but clear as did it read

;) So excited for next time<333

What the hell was that suppose to mean..

I pulled from his arms and bolted for the door.

He didn't call for me or even come for me.

I got to my car and had, had enough for the night. I pulled out my phone and texted Justin

Hey... I know this is kinda strange but do you wanna meet me for sushi?

Why had I just texted Justin, I'm unsure. But I knew he was more exciting than Nick. Its funny because I wasnt even hungry but you know I could go for some food now.

My phone beeped

Yeah! Thanks for asking, I would love to. See you there.

Maybe he wasn't so bad after all
