Chapter 9

Cassie's POV

"Where are you going?!" I heard Nick yell after me

"You obviously care to much about whoever is texting you to pay attention to me so I'm leaving" I yelled back

"CASSIE!" He yelled but it was too late I was already pulling out of his street

What if he really was just talking to Justin.. but why would Justin say " ;) so excited for next time<333 " It deffinatley was a girl. Why would he cheat on me so quickly it just doesnt add up.. I got to the sushi place before Justin so I decided to wait in my car and text him.

I typed:

"Hey im here, how far away are you? (: "

ehh that seems like im trying to hard..

"Im here! How far away are you?" 

That's better ! Sent!

"I'm stuck in traffic, It'll be about 15 minutes i'm so sorry to keep you waiting! :("

"it's fine! See you then." 

I sighed well this sucks what am I supposed to do for 15 minutes.. I decided to call Hannah since I havent really spoken to her much and I kind of miss talking to her.

"Hey Cass! Whats up!" 

"Hey Han, Well I kind of wanted to talk to you about something I dont know if im over reacting or not"

"What is it?" She sounded kind of nervous

"well today I was hanging with Nick and he wouldnt stop checking his phone, We were kissing and he pulled away from me to check his phone.. and then I saw a text that said so excited for next time with a winky face and hearts I just dont know what to think. Do you think he's cheating on me?"

"Cas Nick really likes you it was probally just Justin texting him trying to scare you, dont worry im sure it was nothing I really have to go Cas so ill talk to you later" 

"Alright thanks Han-- 

She hung up before I could finish what I was saying.. Why is everyone acting so weird around me I dont understand this.

I still have about 5 minutes until he gets here so I decided to play some music.

Ugh I swear they never play anything good on the radio, I decided just to listen to royal by Lorde the song kind of annoys me but its the only decent thing on the radio.

I closed my eyes to relax but then someone knocked on my window I look up and it was Justin smiling at me for some reason I couldnt help but get butterflies when I saw him. 

I pulled out my car keys, grabbed my purse and then opened the car door.

"Hey Justin" I said with a smile

"Hey Cassie why'd you want to meet me?" He said while we were walking to the door

"um I dont know really nicks acting weird and I dont know I just couldnt be around him anymore" I said kind of embarrased I didnt want him to know that we're already having problems we've only been dating 2 days.

"How was he acting weird?" He said while opening the door for me

"Its probably nothing I dont want to bother you with my relationship issues." I really just didnt feel like telling Justin all about my issues... especially since I know he likes me I just didnt want to cause any unnecessary tension.

"How many?" The hostess said to us

"2 please" I replied smiling

"okay follow me!" 

We followed her back to a table with 2 seats across from eachother. I call them the couple tables. Which is pretty irrelevent since I dont even know if me and Justin are friends right now.

"okay back to what we were talking about - 

He got interupted by the waiter

"Hi what can I get you guys, you two make a perfect couple by the way, the babies will be so cute" 

I nearly choked on my water, I started laughing 

"oh my god no we arn't together" I said laughing 

Justin looked kind of hurt but I was only speaking the truth we werent dating..

"oh gosh i'm so sorry I just assumed because you guys looked happy together and I dont know im so sorry" She sounded so embarrased

"Its fine! anyways I will have the spicy tuna roll please" I said with a sweet smile

"Alright and for you sir?" She said looking straight at Justin

"umm I'll just have the california roll with a side of soy sauce please"

"okay great! It'll be out shortly!" She said with a smile

 She collected our menus and walked away.

"So back to what we were talking about Cassie how was Nick acting weird?"

I was hoping he'd forget I really dont want to talk about it at all.

"umm well he kept ignoring me because someone was texting him and he said that it was you texting him and so I brushed it off, But then we were making out"

I stopped what I was saying because I saw Justins face tense up

"I'm sorry I shouldnt have said the last part.."

"No it's fine continue" 

"okay.. well we were making out and then he got another text and went to pull away but I grabbed him to try and keep the make out session going but he got mad and said "Cassie what are you doing it could be important" so I went and locked myself in the bathroom because I just needed air. Then after like 2 or 3 minutes he said "Cassie it was just Justin" so I thought I was just overreacting and walked out of the bathroom to talk to him. He pulled me into a hug and then he got another text. He didnt know I saw what it said but it said so excited for next time and then I knew that the texts didnt come from you. But then I called Hannah and she assured me that it was probably just you trying to mess with me so I brushed it off. But part of me is saying that he's cheating on me..

I felt a tear fall down my eyes. Justin reached over and wiped it off my cheek

"That fucking asshole" I looked up and Justin looked pissed off

"Justin its fine.. Does that mean the texts werent from you..?" I didn't want to know what he was about to say but I knew that I had to hear it.
