Chapter 5

<REOUGH>

I was laughing so hard my sides where hurting. Jacob had just finished telling me a story about how he got drunk once, and woke up to find out that someone robbed him clean. He was hilarious, I had never laughed so much in my life. I glanced off behind me to make sure the kids were okay. They were having fun in the ball pit. I looked at jacob, who was stuffing his face with pizza, fries, nuggets, root beer, and breadsticks." He was eating like it was his last meal.

" I dont understand how you eat so much, and stay so thin and lean." I remarked, taking a drink of my large sprite. He stopped mid bite, smiling. Trying his best to keep his mouth closed. Once he swallowed his mouth full of food he replied.

"well, I love food and nothing is gonna keep me away from my meals. Im not some slinky anorex model, plus ive always had a high matabolism and I go to the gym five times a week." He said.

"oh and I also cant resist a woman that knows how to eat as well. I think its soo sexy." He winked as I ate a piece of pizza, demolishing it. I blushed my brown cheeks turning red. He was making me feel like a school girl, I was blushing so hard.

"Mr.Perez, are you flirting with me?" I asked twirling the end of my pony tail. A smirk found its way to his shaply lips.

"Are you paying attention?" He asked lowly in his baritone voice. As he eyed me from across the table. Whoa was it hot. This was my first time ever really sitting and talking with him, now I see why all the girls wanted him he made you feel some weird way, but it was a awsome feeling. He stood up to his feet. Throwing his pate away, then turned to me.

"come on, lets go have some fun with those busy bodies." He said. I stood up.

"boy, your crazy. We're to big." I sais laughing at his playfulness, but he was serious.

"no were not I got in that ball pit the last time I was here, and I had fun. So come on." He said. I thought about it for a second.
Shit, why not? I just shrugged my shoulders as I followed his lead. This could be fun....

<MAYA>
You have reached the voice mail of... I hung up the phone tossing it on my bed. That was the sixth time I had called jacob, with no ansewer. He knew it pissed me off when he didnt ansewer my calls when he had leana. I could just kill him. My mind was running a hundred miles a minute.
What was he doing? Where was he.at? Who else was he with? The sound of my phone ringing brought me out of my thoughts. I grabbed it with a quickness thinking it was jacob, it wasnt. Just my friend gina.

"Hello?" I answerd with a sigh.

"well damn, what did I do to you?" She said smacking her lips. She was a little ghetto.

"nothing girl, im just pissed off at jacob. He's not answering his damn phone." I confessed.

"ugh, forget about your baby daddy, I've got some news." She said.

"and what exactly is this news." I asked laying back into the comfort of my bed.

"we'll my cousin david is in town  and I told him about you and he said he wants to meet up sooo..." She draged not telling me something. I knew she did something she wasnt supposed to.

"gina.." I said suspicously.

"you have a date with him this friday night at the plaza wear something cute, call you tommarow about the details bye." She said quickly then hung up. I sat with my mouth open in astonishment. That damn gina was always doing this to me. She knows I dont like david. Ugh uh. That date is not happening. I called gina back immediatly, we had some things to straighten out...

<JACOB>

I carefully strapped a sleeping peace, in her car seat. She was exhasted from playing with reoughs nephew.

"thanks jacob, I had a really good time." Reough said as she stood by my car, angel right beside her.

I gentle closed the door.

"im glad you did. I had fun too. Thanks for joining me. Your quite the kid." I said. She laughed revealing a small gap in her teeth, that I thought was cute.

"yeah, well I can say the same thing for you." She said playfully shoving me. It got quiet between us for a second. It wasnt akward, but good.

"hey, mabey we should do this again sometime?" I insisted.

"yeah sure when." She asked.

"well, my schedual is all out of whack so why dont I just get your number and call you sometime?" I said.

"sure." She said giving me her number, I stored it in my phone.

"well, I gotta get home and put her to bed." I said tossing my head back in the direction of my car.

"i'll see you around." I leaned over and gave her a hug, the smell of fresh flowers hiting my nose.

"bye." She said.

"bye guys." I said to them as I got in my car and she got into hers. I decided to take my phone off of silent, and check my messages.

Seven messages and six calls, all from maya. I sighed heavily. I couldnt do anything with out her.calling all the time. I tossed my phone in the passenger seat. And drove off, preparing myself for mayad ranting.
