Chapter 5

*Suka's P.O.V*

I woke up to sound of a crash. I shot up on the bed with my hackles raised and a low growl forming in the back of my throat. There was another crash that came from right outside the window. I jumped off the bed and landed on the window sill. I jumped out of the window and found a whole bunch of people surrounding Kankuro. He had a scared look on his face as everybody got ready to attack him. I quickly jumped in the middle of the circle and roared. Everyone looked at me with a look of fear at first then they laughed. I stopped growling and looked at them with confusion. I felt a sharp pain hit my side and I flew sideways with a loud yelp. I quickly got up, ignoring the pain, and ran out of the hotel. The villagers chased after me, throwing whatever they had at me. I turned a corner and skidded to a halt as I was trapped at a dead end. I looked behind me and saw the villagers laughing and getting some sticks. I backed away with my ears down and my tail underneath my legs.

'I can't attack them, there just villagers.' I thought to myself, 'What am I going to do?'

I yelped loudly as one of the villagers kicked my side. Another villager hit me with a stick and I went flying. My side hit the wall and I fell down with a thud. I could feel blood start to poor from my side as I lay there. My fur changed to a light blue color and one of the villagers started kicking me while the rest of them beat me with there sticks. I whimpered and yelped as they hit me but my whimpers and yelps died down as the day went on. The villagers finally left me alone in the alley, dirty and bloody. I tried to get up but I couldn't feel my legs. My whole body hurt when I tried to get up. I was able to get up on the fifth try and slowly padded to the entry way of the alley. I heard people gasp and walked faster to get away from me, thinking I was going to attack them. I stopped and raised my muzzle to the sky. I howled for Gaara hoping he would hear me, even though he probably couldn't. I kept padding, no matter how much pain I was in. I walked until I got to a park and laid down near a bench as my blood pooled around me. I heard someone walking toward me as I lay there. I looked up to see a boy about my age with scruffy brown hair and a white puppy dog standing beside him. I slowly stood up and growled at them both while backing away.

"Hey take it easy, we are just here to help you not to hurt you." The boy said

The puppy beside him barked and wagged his tail while walking up to me. I tilted my head and sniffed him. He yipped and put his front paws on my muzzle. I smiled and wagged my tail. I nudged him and he barked as he fell back.

"Will you let me help you??" The boy asked

"Only if you tell me your name." I said as I looked up at him

"My name is Kiba Inuzuka and the puppy is my partner Akamaru, what's your name??" The boy, Kiba, said

"My name is Sukaretto Okami, it's a pleasure to met you." I told him while bowing my head slightly

As soon as I lifted my head I got dizzy and fell on my side. Kiba quickly moved toward me and knelt beside me.

"Man someone really did a number on you huh?" He said and was about to say something but was interrupted

"Suka! Sukaretto!!" I heard Temaris voice call.

I lifted my head and howled. I heard her footsteps coming toward me as I laid there, panting heavily.

"Sukaretto! What happened to you?! Who did this to you?! Gaara is not gonna be very happy!" She said then looked at Kiba and Akamaru with a glare, "Did you do this to her?! Why would you do this to her?!" Temari yelled

"We didn't do anything! I found her like this just a few minutes ago!" Kiba yelled at her

"Tch. Yea right and you expect me to believe that?! As if, I'm going to kill you right here, right now!" Temari said as she reached for her fan
