Time seemed to be slowing down as he made his way closer to us. Before he could do any malicious actions to us Caleb shot up his right hand in a fist and shouted something I couldn't make out. There was a blinding flash of light that erupted from his fist that went in all directions.

When the light went away I could not see the man anywhere, but I could see that Caleb was lying motionless on the ground with his face in the wooden floor. I immediately fell to all fours in order to turn him over and make sure he was alright. Rolling him over I could tell that he was injured. Blood was slowly trickling out of his mouth, and as I looked at his right hand it seemed to be gushing blood.

"Caleb!" I called out, hoping that he would at least become conscious, but there was no luck. My heart was racing, I started to take out my phone in order to call 9-1-1, thinking that we were about to be busted for breaking and entering, as well as disturbing a crime scene.

Before I pressed the dial button, the front door flung open, I had forgot about the creature that was outside. I was now sure that both of us weren't going to make it out of whatever we had stumbled upon. After a few brief moments I realized it wasn't the creature and instead it was a woman in a purple evening dress, standing tall and fully collected, something I was not.

"You foolish children, you're going to get yourselves killed," she exclaimed as she knelt down by Caleb's side.

"What did he do?" I asked.

"He did an incantation that banishes evil spirits and those who might be controlling them," she paused looking over his face and taking something from his hand, "He didn't use proper protection for this," she said as she grabbed the bridge of her nose. "What are you two even doing here?"

"It's a long story," I told her.

"Alright, you can tell me later. But for now we need to get your friend better." She hovered a hand over his body and the bleeding seemed to stop, "Quick now, take my hand, we need to get out of here," she said, extending a hand to me.

It felt like being squeezed into a tight tube that was forcing a large amount of the air in my lungs out. I was surrounded by a translucent blue haze that was obscured my vision. I could no longer feel the ground beneath my feet.

Once the weight of gravity was apparent to me, I could see that we were now in a building who had stone interior walls. Two men that were heavily robbed in white clothing came into the hallway that we now were and proceeded to pick up Caleb together.

"Where are they taking him?" I had to ask.

"To help him, don't worry he will heal," she said calmly, "but he will have to explain himself for using incantations without the approval of the Grand Coven."
