My rat cage is an old entertainment center. There is a place for a tv, three shelves for DVDs and a little storage area with doors. As you can see in the picture, the top shelf has a hole drilled in the side so they can get from there to the big "room" which has many hanging things, hung up with shower rings, and things on the floor to climb on and dig in. The top shelf is where they're supposed to sleep (they don't, though.) the next shelf down is the "kitchen". It has their food. The next floor down is the "bathroom". I put a litter box there.
In the next chapter, I'll put the supplies and about how much they cost, and where I got them.
